  The split bench is stable and of solid construction. The one fault I found was some of the holes that receive the locking pins are a little too tight out of the box. This is probably a diameter of hole + thickness of paint miscalculation. It's easy to fix, I wrapped some sand paper around a screw driver and rubbed a tiny amount of the paint away.
  
  Fantastic overall. No complaints.
