  Have used pads before & never had a problem & still love painting with them. Would be helpful if the wheels were solid as they are a sod to clean. Small pad seems a bit pointless in any set not just this one. Medium pad fell apart, very basically stuck on but not efficient. Haven’t used the big pad yet but hoping it will be okay. Pads are brilliant to use but this set comes under par. Emulsion & water based paints only is my assessment
