ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Kids Web Browser FAQs
1. What is ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Kids (formerly Fire for Kids) web browser?
The ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Kids web browser is a browser built from the ground up to give kids a personalized and age-appropriate web experience. The web browser offers two browsing options. Parents can choose either the "Hand-Selected Websites & Videos" option, which limits access to only permitted websites and web videos or the "Filtered Websites & Videos" option which provides a more open but filtered experience. With both options, parents can see what content their child is accessing online through the browsing history on Parent Dashboard.
2. Do all ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Kids (formerly Fire for Kids) users have access to the web?
Yes, the "Hand-Selected Websites & Videos" option of the web browser is automatically turned on for all child profiles. A parent can choose to change their child’s web browser option or turn off web browser access entirely. If the web browser is turned off, access to permitted websites and web videos will be disabled. You can enable, modify or disable the ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Kids web browser in ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Parent Dashboard > Child > Settings > Modify Web Browser or on the device in ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Kids Child Profile Settings > Web Settings > Modify Web Browser.

Parents are also free to add websites and web videos they have approved. The "Filtered Websites & Videos" option allows kids to explore the web with built-in controls that help filter our inappropriate content. Parents may also block specific websites by navigating to the ÍøÆغÚÁÏ Parent Dashboard > Child > Settings > Modify Web Browser > Restrict Websites and add blocked websites under "Restricted Websites."
