Multi-Room Music Isn't Playing on Your Fire TV Device
Follow these suggestions when playing Multi-Room Music.
Before getting started, check that your device supports Multi-Room Music. Multi-Room Music is available on:
- Fire TV Cube
- Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series
- Fire TV Omni QLED Series
- Fire TV 4-Series
- Fire TV 2-Series
- Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Generation)
- Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Generation)
Then, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Connect your A/V receiver, soundbar, or other equipment directly to your Fire TV device. Bluetooth audio devices aren’t supported.
- Make sure the audio for your A/V receiver, soundbar, or other equipment is in sync with your Fire TV device.
- Confirm that your Fire TV device and connected audio devices are on.
- Use a device group name that has a minimum of two syllables and no special characters so that Alexa can easily understand it.
Note: Keep in mind that audio from video content doesn't play on Multi-Room Music groups.
