The Climate Pledge and Ships in Product Packaging programmes
At ÍøÆغÚÁÏ, we obsess over providing a great customer packaging experience. We listen to our customers to identify new ways to reduce waste, improve manufacturer packaging on items we sell, and innovate on the packaging we use in our fulfillment centres under our Ships in Product Packaging Programmes (including the Frustration-Free Packaging programme that promotes product packaging that is fully recyclable and easy-to-open). We gather packaging insights via customer service, online returns, customer delivery feedback, and social media to help us deliver the best possible experience while minimising waste. One of the biggest challenges in e-commerce packaging is designing it to be as compact as possible while ensuring that products arrive fully intact. With this in mind, ÍøÆغÚÁÏ works with manufacturers worldwide to help them re-think and optimise their packaging, reduce use of resources throughout the supply chain, and protect products from damage during delivery to the customer.
On September 19, 2019, ÍøÆغÚÁÏ and Global Optimism announced The Climate Pledge - a commitment to reach the Paris Agreement 10 years early. We are innovating and investing to be net zero carbon by 2040 and run on 100% renewable energy by 2030.
Since 2015, sustainable packaging initiatives including Ships in Product Packaging programmes have helped reduce ÍøÆغÚÁÏ packaging weight by 41% on average and avoid 2 million tons of packaging material, by promoting products that can ship in their own product packages without additional ÍøÆغÚÁÏ boxes or bags.

Our mission is to reduce the amount of packaging required while ensuring products arrive to our customers undamaged. If you have experienced a damaged delivery, please and tell us about your experience. We'll use information collected from your order to help assess both the quality of the item's packaging from the manufacturer and the choices we made in terms of packaging solutions available at our fulfillment centres. If needed, we'll work to improve the packaging and may even restrict the item from sale until a packaging change is made to ensure that we are delivering a great customer experience.
