Product description
You will receive 10 STEMS - with lead or weights. "Waterweed is probably the most well-known of all aquatic plants. Thanks to its rapid growth it is the perfect plant for dealing with algae. This stem plant is also a popular oxygenator for aquaria and garden ponds. As with most stem plants, propagation is not complicated. Simply cut off the top or side shoots and replant them. In aquaria it may be necessary to cut the plant back often due to the speed at which it spreads. Highly recommended for stabilising new setups." Since the growth rate is high, it helps to stabilize the aquarium during its start-up - it minimizes the risk of algae spillage at the start due to the high demand for nutrients in the water. It produces natural substances that act like antibiotics to prevent cyanobacteria (cyanobacteria) breakouts. The rate of growth depends mainly on the power of lighting and the availability of minerals in the water. In the case of mineral deficiencies, the plant does not stop growing, but turns light green and new stems grow thinner.
