The classicist heavy metal band Solace came together in Ottawa, Canada, in 1992. The rocking group consists of vocalist Scott Bailey, bassist Rus Miller, songwriter and guitarist Tim Connors, and drummer Scott Cullen.
It took Solace five years to reach the goal of seeing a debut album hit the store shelves. The impressive album The Mirror was released in January of 1997. The Mirror is filled with tight lyrics and solid hard rock. ~ Charlotte Dillon
In the crowded field of recording credits under the name of David Phillips there is of course representation for the mysterious art of production, at least one such Phillips having toiled on recordings by artists such as mainstream jazz guitarist Emmett North, Jr. ~ Eugene Chadbourne
