Artist bios

Formed in 1992 around the talents of Irish vocalist Maria Walsh and English saxophonist and pianist Carole Nelson, spirited Dublin-based duo Zrazy specialize in an eclectic blend of pop, dance, Celtic fusion, funk, folk, and jazz that's as thought-provoking as it is danceable. Drawing from a diverse group of influences that include Diana Krall, Laurie Anderson, Pet Shop Boys, Sinead O'Connor, Miles Davis, and Joni Mitchell, the multiple award-winning duo released their debut album, Give it All Up in 1993, followed by Permanent Happiness (1996), Private Wars (1999), Living Our Lives (2003), Dream On (2004), and The Art of Happy Accidents (2014). ~ James Christopher Monger
