The chaotic sweetness of Reverse is comprised of Ian Kennedy (guitar/vocals), Jackson Cannon (drums), and Mike Piehl (bass). They've been gigging in and around their native Boston since 2000, casting a melodic rock sound similar to the likes of Radiohead and the Pixies. That same year, an independently released debut EP earned Reverse top nods among the local press. While they were nominated for Best New Band on an Indie Label at the Boston Music Awards, they won a Maxie Award from Noise magazine for Best CD of 2000. Two years later, Reverse shaped up its sound for a proper release. The Jersey Switch appeared on Curve the Earth in summer 2002. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
