Komorebi are a collective of London-based producers, singers, and rappers whose moody pastiche of sounds is sprung from classic U.K. garage, hip-hop, and post-punk. Following a string of independent singles, they issued their debut LP, KS22, in 2022.

The group coalesced in early 2020 around members Chris Kinsey (producer, vocals), Ivo Bright (producer, vocals), Cal Van Niel (vocals), Niz (vocals), Jack Goodman (engineer), Daniel Beagin, and Mod Joe (aka Lord). United under the name Komorebi, they amassed a catalog of demos and collaborations with artists like Tom Ford and Faye Meana before issuing the gritty and wide-ranging full-length KS22 in December 2022. ~ Timothy Monger
