New York-based rapper Tropico manages to sound fresh, incorporating modern aesthetics while referencing the heritage of New York hip-hop.

Hailing from the Bronx, Tropico began to break through after the release of his 2019 EP, Who Am I. He caught the attention of Queens rapper Rich the Kid, who not only signed him to his label, Rich Forever, but also collaborated with him on tracks such as "Crazy" and "G Wagon." With the label behind him he went on to release further mixtapes, including 2020's Recently Added and 2021's DONATUS. ~ Liam Martin
