Born and raised in Buenos Aires, singer/songwriter Coral became a fixture of the underground music scene at the age of 16. Her self-released debut album was issued in 2001 and sold over 3,000 copies in Coral's native Argentina, giving the 18-year-old musician enough momentum to relocate to Miami the following year. After honing her Latin rock chops in the popular South Beach scene, Coral left town again -- this time for the bright lights of New York City, where she attended performing arts classes and crafted a second record alongside such producers as Itaal Shur. The bilingual La Tercera was released in 2005 and received strong support from Latin radio and MTV Español. ~ Andrew Leahey
