Artist bios

Colombian singer and songwriter Ryan Castro is known for his Latin pop, hip-hop, and reggaeton style. He broke through with singles like 2017's "Morena" and 2020's "Medellin." In 2022, he delivered both Reggaetonea and Los Piratas. Castro kept up a prolific barrage of singles and collaborations including the 2023 hit "Quema" with Peso Pluma and SOG. That song anchored his next full-length, 2024's El Cantante del Ghetto, which was a Top 20 hit.

Born in 1994 in the Pedregal neighborhood of Medellín, Colombia, Castro became interested in singing and hip-hop at a young age. By his teens, he was already performing and eventually moved to Curacao where he found gigs at hotels, clubs, and restaurants. It was there that he released songs online that went viral, bringing him to the attention of singer Kevin Roldan, who signed him to his label. In 2017, he released "Morena," which helped build his fan base. More songs followed, including "Miami," "Woman," and "Secreto." He also collaborated with Maycol Riddim on "Nunca Imagine" and released 2019's "Campeón" and "Cositas."

By 2020, he had scored more hits with Roldan, including "Dime" (featuring DBwoy) and "Pensándote, Jamaica" with Massianello. Also that year, he scored a hit with "Medellín," a collaboration with Roldan and Reykon. More tracks followed, including 2020's "Lejanía," 2021's "Hay Amores," and 2021's "Jordan" (inspired by basketball legend Michael Jordan). "Wasa Wasa" arrived in August 2021, along with "Monastery" with Feid and "Chupable" with El Alfa and Chiky Bom Bom "La Pantera". He rounded out the year touring with Karol G.

In January 2022, he released the seven-track Reggaetonea, which included guest appearances by Farina, Ovi, Blessd, and others. The album spawned the hit "Mujeriego." Also in 2022, he delivered his Los Piratas EP, featuring the single "Marbella." Castro's output over the next year was prodigious and included popular singles like "Ghetto Star" with COQE and the hit "Quema" with Peso Pluma and SOG. He and SOG also released the 2023 joint EP El Pichón. Throughout 2024, Castro built up to his next album with collaborative singles like "Modelito" with Onyl and "Pueblo de Medallo" with Arcángel which, along with his hit "Quema," were included on the full-length El Cantante del Ghetto in May. The album made the Top 20 of Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Castro kicked off 2025 with "NI X EL PUTXS," a collaboration with Kris R. ~ Matt Collar

With his allegiance to the streets coming through in his music, Puerto Rican singer, rapper, and songwriter Ñengo Flow earned himself the nickname "The Real G of Urban Music." Known as much for his collaborations as his own recordings, he is a go-to for reggaetoneros and urbano musicians and producers for his percussive, gritty flow and compelling musicality. He burst onto the scene with his 2005 debut offering, Flow Callejero, which brought his anthemic party music to the masses. Flow has appeared on dozens of singles and albums as a collaborator, co-writer, and producer with artists ranging from Ivy Queen and Don Omar to Bad Bunny and De la Ghetto. Globally renowned for his numerous mixtapes, such as 2011's Real G 4 Life (and three subsequent entries in the series), he established a rep as an old-school reggaetonero fully equipped with enough new-school chops to remain not only relevant but in demand. Ñengo Flow's third (non-mixtape) studio long-player, The Goat, appeared in 2020, and he has continued releasing heavily streamed singles since, including 2022's "Gato de Noche" with Bad Bunny.

Raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Edwin Rosa first jumped on-stage as a young reggaeton and hip-hop singer in 1995 at the age of 14. In 2004, he joined a group of colleagues on a regional mixtape. A year later, he was on the Univision label with his debut album as Ñengo Flow, Flow Callejero, but the always-rebellious artist willingly returned to the underground and spent the next seven years releasing singles and mixtapes like La Verdadera Calle (2010). In 2011, Millones Récords began issuing his Real G 4 Life series of official mixtapes, including Real G 4 Life, Pt. 2 (2012), which landed on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. That same year, he was a noted collaborator on Ivy Queen's now-classic album Musa. In 2015, the mixtape series became the name of Ñengo's own label when Real G 4 Life Records released the Los Reyes del Rap album along with the "Moving Kilos" single featuring French Montana. The third installment in Flow's mixtape series, Real G4 Life, Vol. 3, appeared in 2017. That same year, he was a featured guest on Kiubbah Malon's album El Final.

In 2018, Flow appeared as an actor in the first season of Nicky Jam's autobiographical Netflix series El Ganador while also collaborating on the soundtrack. In 2019, his "Te Arrepentiste," featuring Lyanno, also made the urbano charts. In March 2020, Flow appeared on Bad Bunny's smash "Safaera" with Jowell & Randy and followed with his own charting long-player, The Goat, featuring guest spots from Jhay Cortez, Anuel AA, Jory Boy, and Myke Towers, among others.

Flow has released dozens of singles since The Goat. Some of his biggest tracks from 2020 include "Vive y Deja Vivir" (with Alejandra Guzmán), "Gatita Gangster" (with Cazzu), "Profecía," and "Universitaria." 2021 brought songs with Dvice, Gaona, Farruko, Myke Towers ("Burberry"), and others. "Chukiteo" (with Kiko El Crazy) appeared in 2022, as well as "Delincuente" (with Tokischa and Anuel AA), "Sufro" (with Kodak Black and Anuel AA), "Gato de Noche" (with Bad Bunny), and others. ~ David Jeffries

An urbano songwriter and rapper from Puerto Rico, Myke Towers has a flow that ranges from slow and moody to expressive, quick, and reedy. That diversity has served him well. In 2016, he reached number 12 on the Latin Rhythm chart with his debut mixtape, El Final del Principio, and in 2020 he topped the Latin chart and cracked the Billboard 200 with his sophomore album, Easy Money Baby. Along with notable collaborations with Farruko, Becky G, Bad Bunny, and Piso 21, he has also issued a steady stream of non-album singles, including 2020's "La Nota" with Manuel Turizo and Rauw Alejandro, and 2021's "Ella No Es Tuya (Remix)" with Rochy RD and Nicki Nicole. In 2021, he again reached the top echelon of the Latin charts with his sophomore album, Lyke Mike. 2023's LA VIDA ES UNA marked his third straight Top Ten album. In November, he followed it with LVEU: Vive la Tuya...No la Mi, a 23-track, stylistically diverse effort that also entered Top Latin Albums inside the Top Ten.

Towers was born in Puerto Rico in 1994. He was interested in music from his early teens, and Drake proved a primary influence. In 2013, he joined the Young Kingz roster, which nurtured him under its umbrella (precipitating his name change from Mike Towers in 2017 to reflect the first two letters of the company in homage). A year later, he began posting freestyle raps to his SoundCloud account. Tracks such as "Dia de Cobro," "Interesante," and "Contra Quien Sea" racked up millions of spins. (The latter even earned a shout-out from DJ Khaled for his imaginative application of Boricua beats.) In 2016, Towers self-released El Final del Principio to digital streaming services. Comprised of eight tracks and two new numbers, it racked up more than ten million streams, placing it on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart.

The success of the album opened the floodgates, and Towers became an in-demand collaborator, working with Farruko, Bryant Myers, and many others. In 2018, he was featured on the streaming hit "Darte" by Alex Rose, as well as the charting "Forma en Que Me Miras" (alongside Sammy, Lenny Tavarez, and Rafa Pabon). In February 2019, his collaboration with Farruko on "Si Se Da" had over 160 million streams. In March, he appeared on Mariah's charting single "Celos." He issued "La Playa" a month later, and the accompanying video reached over 200 million views. In June, the video single "Estamos Arriba" with Bad Bunny hit the number three spot on the chart. Less than a month later, "Dollar," his collaboration with Becky G, ran up the charts with 118 million views.

In September 2019, Towers' video single "Piensan" punched in 45 million views in two weeks. After he and Kali Uchis delivered a talk together at a music industry summit sponsored by Billboard and discussed a future collaboration, his video single "Hace un Mes," from One World Music and Casablanca Records, hit over 11 million streams inside of a week. The charting singles "Rutina" and "La Playa (Remix)," featuring Maluma and Farruko, rounded out the year. In January 2020, Towers issued his sophomore long-player, Easy Money Baby. The album entered the Top 200 at number 55 and went to number one at Top Latin Albums.

The single "Ella No Es Tuya (Remix)" with Rochy RD and Nicki Nicole arrived in February 2021. That April, Towers returned with his sophomore album, Lyke Mike, which debuted at number 33 on the Billboard 200 and hit number three on the Top Latin Albums chart. Showcasing guest appearances by Miky Woodz, Jon Z, Ñengo Flow, and others, the record found him moving somewhat afield from the reggaeton of his debut and diving deeper into hip-hop, trap, and drill sounds. Several non-album singles followed, including 2022's "Ulala" with Daddy Yankee. In April 2023, Towers returned with his third album, LA VIDA ES UNA; like its two predecessors, it entered the Latin Albums chart inside the Top Ten. The 23-track set included collabs with Arcangel, Ozuna, J Balvin, Chita, and Daddy Yankee.

Just months later, in November 2023, Towers issued his second album of the year in LVEU: Vive la Tuya...No la Mi. The set, which entered the Latin albums Top Ten upon release -- featured Towers performing without collaborators on a stylistically wide-ranging album that showcased sounds from reggaeton and trap to bachata, merengue, and neo-New Jack Swing. In 2024, he cracked the Hot 100 after joining forces with Bad Bunny for the non-album single "Adivino." ~ Thom Jurek
