Seattle's Seldom formed in 1997 with Yuuki Matthews (keyboards/vocals), Casey Wescott (guitar), and Pedro the Lion's Casey Foubert (drums). They issued the Places I Haven't Seen EP in 2001 and later joined Sarah Shannon for her 2002 solo tour of America. In between gigs, Seldom recorded their debut album, Romance. Romance was issued on Casa Recordings in summer 2002 and, finally, the indie kids had some solid pop candy to talk about. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
