Artist bios

California hip-hop group Shoreline Mafia delivers hedonistic trap rap focused on partying, sex, and drugs. After a slow rise in the late 2010s, they signed with Atlantic in 2018, and released the Billboard-charting Party Pack, Vol. 2 in 2019. 2020's studio debut Mafia Bidness climbed into the U.S. Top 30, but they soon disbanded. Four years later, they reunited as a duo, issuing "Heat Stick."

Influenced by Max B, 50 Cent, Three 6 Mafia, and Gucci Mane, the group was formed in 2012 by graffiti artists and rappers Fenix, OhGeesy, Rob Vicious, and Master Kato (the sole Chicagoan in a gang of Los Angeles natives). In their early years, they recorded and partied together, but they didn't cement their status as an official group until 2016. Their debut mixtape, ShorelineDoThatShit, arrived independently in late 2017. Produced by RonRonTheProducer, the set featured the singles "Musty" and "Bottle Service." They signed with Atlantic Records in early 2018, re-releasing ShorelineDoThatShit in May and subsequently issuing Traplantic, Party Pack, and OTXmas before the end of the year. Party Pack, Vol. 2 appeared in September of 2019, reaching number 61 on the Billboard 200. The group's debut studio album, Mafia Bidness, arrived in July 2020. Rising to number 27 in the U.S., the gold-certified set featured guest appearances by 03 Greedo, Wiz Khalifa, Future, and others. Soon after that album's release, Fenix left the group and the remaining threesome disbanded.

Four years later, in May 2024, Fenix and OhGeesy reunited as a duo and released the single "Heat Stick." ~ Neil Z. Yeung

Along with being a key component of Shoreline Mafia, L.A. rapper Ohgeesy also operates solo, hitting hard with slick flows, catchy choruses, and songs marked by clean production and party-starting beats. His braggadocious personality took center stage on his 2021 debut album, Geezyworld. A sequel and the Berner collaboration Trophies arrived in 2023, and the rapper released the single "Yacht Master" in 2024.

Born Alejandro Coranza, Ohgeesy was one of the founding members of Los Angeles rap collective Shoreline Mafia. The group began in 2012, and by the end of the 2010s they had gathered significant buzz for their fun, unhinged, and often dark sound. After appearing as a featured guest on other artists' material, Ohgeesy offered up his first solo tracks in 2020, beginning with the bass-forward single "Bandemic (E.E.D.)." Several other singles preceded Ohgeesy's debut album, Geezyworld. Released through Atlantic in August 2021, the set reached number 102 on the Billboard 200 and featured guest spots from DaBaby, YG, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and others. A deluxe version of the album appeared in 2022 and featured several popular bonus tracks, including "Go Fast" featuring Eladio Carrión and "Let Me Know" with Kalan.FrFr. Geezyworld 2, Cuffing Season EP, and Trophies (with Berner) all appeared in 2023. The single "Yacht Master" was issued in 2024. ~ Fred Thomas

Both as a solo artist and a member of Shoreline Mafia, Fenix Flexin makes sleek, powerful tracks that waste no time stating their dominance. After stepping away from the group in 2020, he released huge solo singles like 2021's "10 Toes" and mixtapes like 2024's Back Flexin, eventually reuniting Shoreline Mafia in a new duo form with fellow founding member OhGeesy for the 2024 song "HEAT STICK."

Fenix Flexin was born Fenix Rypinski and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He began rapping as a teenager, forming the group Shoreline Mafia in 2016 with friends and bandmates OhGeesy, Rob Vicious, and Master Kato. The group quickly rose to worldwide acclaim and rode a wave of success until disbanding in 2020 when Fenix stepped away to pursue a solo career. His debut single, 2021's "10 Toes," was streamed millions of times shortly after its release and he launched a series of self-titled mixtapes, beginning with Fenix Flexin, Vol. 1 in 2021, and continuing with Vols. 2 & 3 over the next two years. In 2024, in addition to releasing his solo Back Flexin project, he re-formed Shoreline Mafia as a duo with OhGeesy and released the new track "HEAT STICK," which garnered tens of millions of streams in a matter of weeks. ~ TiVo Staff
