Equally inspired by cutting-edge producers like Hudson Mohawke and pop masterminds such as Max Martin, Copenhagen's Siba began making music at an early age, first in bands with friends and later on his own after discovering electronic music at 15. Using broken equipment in his bedroom, he came up with a vivid sound reminiscent of SOPHIE and the PC Music collective, first posting his tracks on SoundCloud and releasing his debut EP, Fruits (which featured his first songs to include vocals), in March 2016. The following month, Siba collaborated with Charli XCX on some tracks, and returned that December with the heartfelt EP My Life with Jessie, My Friends and the Rest of the World. ~ Heather Phares
