Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter, and TaTa represent Brooklyn's drill scene with hostile, high-energy rhymes recorded under the name 41. The Brownsville neighborhood natives debuted as a group in 2022 and went viral with the diss track "Notti Bop." They released a pair of similarly cold-blooded full-length projects, 41 Ways and 41 World: Not the Album, in 2023, and continued in 2024 with tracks such as "Trick" and "Tweak."
Among his group, Kyle Richh was the first to rap, starting at the age of seven, TaTa began in middle school, and Jenn Carter when she was 17. When Richh and Carter met TaTa at a recording session in 2021, the trio discovered an easy chemistry, and early the next year effectively launched their group with "41 Cypher." Deeper into 2022, after they signed with major-label Republic, 41 gained greater notice with "Notti Bop," a response to Notti Osama's "41K" with rhymes about the fatal stabbing of that rival MC. "Notti Bop" went viral on TikTok, and the group took advantage of the momentum, releasing "41 Shots" and "Deuce" before the end of the year. The latter track appeared on the group's first full-length, 41 Ways, released in April 2023. Only seven months later, they followed it with 41 World: Not the Album, featuring "Bent." Supplemental singles "Trick," "Birthday," and "Tweak," and featured appearances on tracks by Lola Brooke ("Becky") and MCVertt ("Hate the Real") followed throughout 2024. ~ TiVo Staff
