  • 【Good Application】 Sclaveranda valves due to the smaller diameter are mechanically slightly less than other valves. The threaded follower shank with a knurled nut (both brass components) can bend and break when lifting or weaning the pump.
  • 【Universal】The higher the internal pressure, the stronger the press of the cone in the seat. This makes Sclaveranda valves suitable for high tyre pressure, which are needed e.g. in a racing bike to achieve a slight rolling resistance
  • 【Difference 】 Presta valve is very similar to rain valve, which is mainly used in Italy. In the rain valve, the threaded stem is so short that it does not protrude from the valve pipe and therefore cannot be bent.

— The Sclaverand valve was invented by Franzose Etienne Sclaverand and is therefore usually called a French valve or Presta valve.
— the word "Presta" or "presto" comes from French and Italian origin, in addition to the meaning it is fast, insignificant, immediately and a racing bike cover is created.
— Sometimes the fixed seating of the screwed valve insert in the shaft should be checked to prevent the flowing loss of air.
