I love this mitre saw , and my recent skirting installation was made a breeze because of it.
First off, the build quality is great. Very sturdy tool and I should get a fair bit of use out of it.
The tool does require some minor assembly , and this is done with an Allen type key and pliers.
To see how the tool works, it's best to watch the video on the product page, as I don't want to advise people incorrectly and get blamed for poor workmanship.
Basically the tool works by setting the tool into the required mitre and then keeping it set whilst you cut your material. This is such a simple design and far better way of doing it than those cheaper mitre saws which basically have a 0° 45° setting..let's face it, how many of us have houses which are perfectly square.
I think the price of this tool is justified by how much easier it makes life.
