Product description
The Scandinavian Kitchen is one of the UK’s leading Scandinavian food outlets, providing freshly made food and groceries from Scandinavia.
It started back in the distant days of 2006 when an Innocent Dane was pacing the streets of London with an equally innocent Swede. Their mission: to find authentic Scandinavian food in the UK.
Did they succeed? No, they didn’t. This is why they decided to open ScandiKitchen.
Bronte (the Dane) and Jonas (the Swede) imported all the foods and treat they missed from home, found a great team of people, and opened their doors just off Oxford Street to teach the citizens of London that open sandwiches are a super-tasty and healthy way to lunch.
ScandiKitchen is all about bringing the best of Nordic cuisine to you.
Abba Kalles Kaviar Original – Smoked Cod Roe 190g
Smoked creamed cod roe is a Swedish breakfast staple and a bit like marmite – you either love it or hate it.
Kalles Kaviar is one of the most famous Swedish products of all time – and also amongst the best loved ones. Launched in 1954, Kalles is based on a recipe that dates back hundreds of years, which found its way to Abba by way of a thrifty peddler who sold them the recipe for 100) Swedish Crowns – a small fortune in 1954. Abba made a pretty good deal though – as Kalles is as popular as ever and is found in Swedish fridges everywhere. Try it with hardboiled egg for breakfast, with cheese or simply on its own on some good bread or crispbread. This is a chilled item.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 March 2024My partner has been eating this for years and saw a TV programme about how they made it. Since then he's had it on a roll with hard boiled egg. The tube came very quickly the next day and it was still cold. Great service. I used to get it from Ocado but they've stopped.
