I know I've got bed bugs so I know that these do not work because they haven't trapped a single one after a week. I didn't think that they would work though, why would they? There's no bait or indeed any reason for the bed bugs to enter these things. I bought them because I'm desperate & so will try anything; which is probably what the makers are exploiting.

With the issues reported in 2023 particularly in France around increase numbers of bed bugs this product seems to be a promising idea particularly when travelling. You get four traps in a pack with a clearly written instruction leaflet on how to use them. The leaflet has a link to the web site of the company that makes them where you can see the full range of products that they supply. The traps are robust so that they can be placed between a mattress and a bed base without being crushed, have holes for bed bugs to enter and transparent plastic lids so you can easily see inside. I have been using them at home for two weeks and so far, have not seen any sign of bed bugs in them, although I am not sure what they would look like. A clear picture of bed bugs in the trap would have been useful for reference. This either means that there are no bed bugs there (I don’t have any other evidence that there might be bed bugs at present) or that there are some there and that the traps have not caught any. I like the fact that these are non-toxic. I have not seen any indication of how long they last, which would be extremely useful information to know if I am intending to keep some for future use. e.g. to take travelling.

When i was bitten by what i thorght were bed bugs I brought these little traps,and dotted them around the bed as per the instructions.Having treated the bits on my leg with antiseptic cream iy was found that it was a tick bite. from walking the dogs,so i checked them and they were ok.I later checked the traps and sure enough they caught a Tick.So these traps work well not only on bed bugs but on other nastys that bite you while you sleep.
