A few points, 1 - You need to have a SD card in place, even to link to a PC (PC views the contents via the card, which you can then copy to the PC. You cannot save directly) 2- The stack loader is good but... Kodak style card frames in my experience are too large and get stuck - use 4 slot holder instead. 3 - The stack loader also has problems with 'slimline' plastic frames, there's a tendancy to ride over each other but loading singly is not much slower. Thicker plastic frames work well stacked as per documentation.
Even loading singly as above, I copied over 200 slides in about 40 minutes (of course they are old and want colour correcting! but that's another issue)
On the whole a good purchase, and much, much faster than using a conventional scanner sytem.
