This cleaner has done a great job so far for removing stains from the carpet, sofa, mattress etc. I recently pour a full cup of black tea on sofa. There is even no mark on it after cleaning it with this product.

My only complaint is clean water tank is small. I'd recommend it.

Searching for a few weeks for a carpet cleaner after having 2 faulty vax cleaners a few years ago put me off buying one again. This came up 10. 5star reviews so thought I'd give it ago . Unfortunately this did better then the vax no leaks or electrical fires. But the suction is terrible. This is what you would expect from a cheap 12v car cigarette lighter hoover left carpets and sofer soaking wet used 2liters of water picked up 120ml . Possibly a faulty unit. When we bought our house there were some stubborn marks on an otherwise excellent wool carpet. I'd tried those upright carpet washing vacuums but many of the stains remained. The warm water option of this carpet extractor is great. The warm cleaning fluid mixture really worked on the stains. Scrubbing back and forth with the brush attachment to agitate the fibres and lift the muck. You can see the dirty water being extracted through the hose. Some fibres and dirt get stuck on the inside surfaces of the scrubbing attachment, but the front cover comes off for easy cleaning.

I tried to use the steam setting and nozzle, but I must be missing something as all I got was cool water. I imagine it was me not reading the instructions properly, rather than the device. I already have a dedicated steamer, so this isn't a setting I can see myself using often anyway.

There's some included Haushof-branded cleaning fluid, which works nicely. You need to add 45ml to the 1.5L tank. The included measuring cup is in 10ml increments, but it's easy enough to pour between the 40 and 50ml lines.

The power cable and hose length give you a good long reach and working radius. At no point did I feel like I couldn't reach a spot I wanted to get to. The hose can curl around the extractor for storage, and there's a clip for the cord and handle. However, there's no nowhere to store the steam attachment or upholstery brush cover.

Overall, I'm very happy with it. It's quick to get up to temperature and got my carpets good enough to last a few more years.

This Haushof StainZapper Vapo 3 in 1 carpet cleaner is very well designed and is made from quality, sturdy plastic. It has a 1.5-meter hose with a 4-meter power cable length. The water tank is easy to detach, fill, and reattach to the unit. The four functions are self explanatory, easy to select and are ready to use quickly.

Cleaning a rug resulted in a waste water tank filled with dirty water. The clean water tank does empty quickly but is easy to refill. When using the multi-function tool, you have to press quite hard to ensure you suck up as much dirty water as possible. The rug did feel damp after washing but had dried out by the next day. The steam jet function is great for cleaning the electric hob, tiles, etc.

The 1200W unit is slightly noisy when in use but is easy and comfortable to use. You get several attachments, but there is no bag supplied for storage. The unit is small enough to store in a cupboard (if you have space), under the stairs, or in a utility room.

I wanted to love this, but it's left me a bit unconvinced.

We have a runner that's got some staining in it, and is generally a bit grubby, so I was very excited to try this (yes, I do realise how sad that sounds now that I've written it!). It took a good while to do a couple of feet of the runner, and although I do think it's made a difference, it's not huge. We're certainly not talking a bright and sparkly finish. Ditto for on the stairs. No stains there, but they are grubby, and are now slightly less grubby.

I felt low or should have made a much bigger difference given the colour of the water that was coming off, but even after letting it dry there was only a small change in how the carpet looked.

I will give it another go, but I can only give it an average star rating at the moment, as I felt it did an average job.

I have never used such a device as this, as we don't have a carpeted house, but we do have rugs and curtains.

I tried on hot water mode on the large rug that we have and it was mesmerising to see all of the dirt being sucked out...almost shocked to be honest.

Steam mode works well, too, but I only tried it on the curtains, as i was not sure what else to use it on. I have an expensive steamer but this put it to shame.

The dirty water compartment was brown after i did the rug, and so its obvious that our vacuum does not get everything out.

Ok, you are not using this every day, but when you need it, its a wonderful tool.. highly recommended!
