Got it for my Meta Quest 2. It's doing great, fits nicely and is not too heavy to make the headset unbalanced. Obviously you can use it as a generic power bank (it actually supports fast-charging for android phones), although as you can tell from the size it's not a huge capacity so, depending on the phone, you'd get like one full charge.
The only downside is that it is a bit pricey for a relatively small battery.

Got it for my Meta Quest 2. It's doing great, fits nicely and is not too heavy to make the headset unbalanced. Obviously you can use it as a generic power bank (it actually supports fast-charging for android phones), although as you can tell from the size it's not a huge capacity so, depending on the phone, you'd get like one full charge.
The only downside is that it is a bit pricey for a relatively small battery.

I have always been slightly disappointed by the battery life on my Quest 2 headset, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to try out this battery pack.

First impressions - this is a neat item, which will not add too much weight to the headset. Of course as it fits on one side (close to the Quest's USB-C socket) it's going to be feel slightly lopsided (unlike other battery packs that fit at the rear) but that's not a significant problem.

The battery pack clips to the side of the headset. On the Quest 2 there are thicker plastic parts on each side, which contain the speakers. This battery pack needs to clip on as far back as possible, but not covering the speakers - I found in this position the USB-C cable attached to the battery pack is slightly too short to easily fold and plug into the Quest's socket - perhaps this will improve with use.

I also checked the output capability for charging other devices. On my Galaxy S22 Ultra the battery pack caused "Fast Charging" so that's good. This could be a useful additional backup charging source in case of emergency, but read on for capacity comments.

My only concern (and hence the 4 star rather than 5 star rating) is the possibly misleading quoted capacity. We are all used to portable chargers/power banks quoting mAh ratings to indicate their capacity. However this item (rather unusually) describes itself as 20000mWh (milliwatt hours not milliamp hours). This translates to a capacity in the more popular notation of 5405mAh (based on its marked internal battery voltage of 3.7V), so it's a pretty small capacity compared to most power banks that you would normally find. However it still gives a useful boost to the running time of the Quest and of course it's pretty light weight.

Overall ... recommended but note the actual battery capacity.

Excellent build quality.
Very lightweight, easy to fit, charged using the USB-C charger and simply plugs into the Quest charging USB-C port.
Keep playing for longer than using the standard integral battery that only lasts a short time.
Priced competitively.
Only takes approx 2 hours to fully charge from empty.

So it does do what it says on the tin - it keeps the Quest running a little longer.

One thing to be aware of is that it states 20,000 mWh capacity, which is confusing in a way as the Quest battery is quoted at 4879 mAh, so not a like comparison, but if you convert it, 20,000 mWh / 3.85v is 5,195 mAh, so this should double the capacity. It’s subjective in tests as my use with passthrough does deplete the battery quickly, but this did seem to double that capacity. It also explains some reviews here that think it should be able to do more as they think its 20,0000 mAh.

The battery level indicator is good for none VR use, I guess, but if you’re wearing the headset, you’re kinda not able to see it, so just keep an eye on the battery indicator in the Quest, and when you see that dropping, you know the battery is done.

So why 2 points off? Quite simply, it fizzes and crackles, which isn’t great on its own, but then added to that is that in use, it’s literally next to your ear, so you can hear it, and it’s loud - even wearing ear pods, you can hear it.

The solution is to buy a USB extension so you can use it clipped to your jeans, but then if you’re doing that, you might as well get a higher capacity battery to extend use longer.

The battery pack arrived with minimal charge, taking a couple of hours to charge to full on a 45w PD charger.

As it clips onto the left side arm of the Quest HMD, its 101g weight is noticeable, but not uncomfortable enough to complain about. It does extend the internal battery life of the Quest 3, but as I stopped using it before the battery pack was exhausted (it may not have been, but I was!) I can't specify typically how long it may last. If the battery pack is left connected, or connected before use, it will fully charge the HMD over time.

The 20,000 mWh equates to 5405 mAh, which is reasonable for the size of the pack. Its life, in use, can be exrended by having a charger connected to the USB C socket on the back, apparently.

It is great for extending play time on the dreadfully short battery life of the Q3, so no negatives there.

Certainly a reasonably priced option in comparison to most Meta original equipment!

My teen son is a boy of few words, but he was delighted to get this battery pack as he's a big fan of his Quest two tech and apparently this has been a really helpful addition to his kit. He said it fits onto his Quest 2 perfectly (he doesn't have the latest 3 or 3S - his is the older one) - and provides that all important extra battery life that extends his gaming options - is that a good thing or not ?! But it does exactly what it says on the tin and he's delighted - so that's a huge teen shaped thumbs up as it takes a lot to impress a teenager.

A lot of people seem to be confusing mWh with mAh, and maybe confusion was the intent. Typically power banks are rated in mAh. This battery is 20000mWh and outputs 5 volts. (mWh)/(V) = (mAh). That puts it at 4000 mAh.

Charging Speed
I played for over an hour, and my headset was still at 100% at the end of my session. This means the power bank charges fast enough for the Quest 3. That's perfect as many fall short. Being able to charge fast also means that you can start with a low headset and power up while using the battery.

Capacity
is 4000mAh enuogh? The internal headset battery is just over 4000 mAh, so effectively this nearly doubles the battery life of the Quest 3, which is good for most people. And if it's not enough, you can buy a second battery and swap.

Gameplay Length
It is NOT going to give you more than 2 more hours. Realistically it will give you 1.5-2 hours. The 2-4 hours is likely based on Meta's dishonest numbers of 2-4 hours with internal battery. I wont fault Kinwin for using Meta's flawed numbers. Assume you can get 3-4 hours with a fully charged headset and battery.

Headset Fit
The cable is short and the clip isn't very wide, so if you have a wide adapter, it's not going to fit. But that's easily resolved if you have a usb extension cable. I recommend a 8-12 inch USB-c Extension cable anyways. The Quest 3 charging port seems flimsy and I'd rather just leave something plugged in permanently with nice cable management to the back. On the back of the headset, I'd clip the battery. I'll show a picture of that.

Weight
Its not heavy. At 4000mAh, it's pretty light. It's light enough that you wont notice if it's on one side of the headset.

Doesnt add as much extra as mentioned, but hey, every little bit helps. This is nice, small, and doesnt add some huge extra piece hanging off the back of your headstrap. I watch a lot of movies with mine while lying in bed, so this is a plus as far as extra time and not having something hanging off the back. Good purchase.
