This is great. It is very simple to use, just clip it onto the headset support arm and plug it in the power socket. It’s quite small and not heavy; I didn’t notice the difference between when I used it and when I didn’t. I didn’t have any problem with it moving on my Quest 2 headset.
It charges quite quickly, a little over 2 hours, and when fully charged it more than doubled my play time and will charge the headset up to 100% if you use it as a power-bank.
I agree with other reviewers that it is a little naughty of the seller to advertise the power rating in mWh rather than mAh as is usual for power banks, but that doesn’t worry me. The test is how long it extends my play time and it wins on that imho.
I really like it as I can play a lot longer and don’t have to attach a long USB cable + charger into it.

It's a nice little pack, clips on and plugs in. Works well to extend your playtime on the Quest headset.
Honestly the capacity listing is just deceptive.
Don't get excited, it ACTUALLY converts to be 4000 mAh in the same units everybody else uses, and it doesn't even seem to be that high.
Fine to remain untethered for an extra hour or so, don't expect much more than that.

Many is the time, game time has to be put on hold because the batteries have died, and it always seems to be at a crucial moment.

Well game time can continue, after your vr unit batteries have failed, just plug this in and you're back in the game.

If you have two of these you could charge one whilst using the other, having said that, I think that the batteries on the 1st unit deplete faster than they were able to charge the 2nd unit, still they would keep you active for a much longer time than the headset batteries alone.

The batteries feel very well made and quite robust, they are simple enough to attached to your head unit.

I have used this on a Quest 2 and a Quest 3 and it performed very well on either unit.

I have even plugged this into my daughters iPhone and it powered that up as well, whether it is supposed to is another story, I just thought with it's nice compact size it may come in handy as a backup battery in an emergency.

Overall, it is a very nice unit, does what it is designed for and more.

Highly recommended.

This is a battery pack designed to clip to the head strap of an Oculus Quest; although designed to suit the newer, white Quest models it will also fit the original, and if mounted far enough forward doesn't press into the side of your head so isn't noticeable. It's useful for providing extra runtime to a Quest (or extra runtime to a USB-C phone while out and about), but it's not without its flaws, which I've listed below.

* Once a Quest has fully charged this unit will turn its output off, which poses a bit of a problem; you can't just leave them both on charge, as once it's charged the Quest it'll keep itself topped up while the Quest runs itself flat.

* It's a charge-only connection; you can't connect your Quest to a PC over USB through this battery pack.

* The capacity doesn't seem to be quite as advertised; although it takes 19.5Wh to charge, it only provides around 15.8Wh of energy before it runs flat, the rest is lost in charge/discharge efficiency losses.

* The case is sealed shut so the battery cannot be replaced at the end of its useful life.

If these aren't showstoppers for you then this might be for you, and it's neater than attaching a power bank with velcro.

When I got this it did not say 20,000mha, it was certainly 10,000mha. And that is much closer to what I got. I factually know that 20,000mha will give you 7+ extra hours of gameplay with a Q2 because I have a huge 20,000mha battery strapped to the back of it and spend a lot of time in Vr on occasion. So that extra time is needed. This product is there for when I need to charge the battery bank and it gives me about 3+ hours of time. Which is enough to charge my bank back to 100% if I'm still in vr that long.

If this says 20,000mha and its still the size of a earbud case, its a blatant lie and you shouldn't buy it. Otherwise, it clips nicely to the side of the headset and lasts a good bit of time overall. Any battery bank is good for a Quest2/3/pro whatever. But, you should get one for the back of the headset.

Update 11/18/24: Brought this up to 4 stars. I was able to try another one and this one has worked better. The issue with it turning off and on is better now so I will mark up the first one as having a slight defect. Great company that stands behind their product as well.

So this product DOES work as described (though I haven’t figured out how much longer the quest2 runs with it) but there are a couple of caveats. One, while the hook is decent it slides easily if it comes off the thicker portion of the adjustable head strap we have for our quest (the kind with the circle adjuster in the back so you can easily adjust the head size). It’s easy moving around for this to slip backwards to the thinner part of the plastic headband which then has it moving loosely and easy to slide off. Second bigger issue caused me to almost give it a 1 star and call it defective. As you can see in the pictures the USB-C on this has one side that has some squiggly line where it appears to connect together. Well when I first tried plugging this into the quest it kept trying to turn on and off (mainly off). What I found was that I HAVE to have the usb-c portion with the connected lines facing DOWN on the quest for it to connect and charge correctly. If it’s up (which is also the direction the wire WANTS it to be) it just won’t do anything. Not sure if this is a defect with the one I have or if it’s a overall issue with how it’s made. Now that I know it works but that shouldn’t be an issue IMO which is why I only give it 3 stars.

Extending Life of My Quest 2

I' am using this battery pack on my Quest 2 with a Kiwi Comfort Strap and so far its working very nicely. My Quest 2's battery has only been charging to 97% max for a couple of months now and I've noticed the battery draining a bit quicker during play. Thought I would be forced to replace with the 3 or 3S before I was ready to dish out that kind of money. I saw this battery pack on ��غ�� and thought I'd give it a try. I'm happy I did. Even though my Kiwi strap is hinged and the battery pack clips over the hinge, it's working out. It doesn't lay completely flat (because of the hinge), but its secure and doesn't effect the movement of the hinge.
With the battery pack, my Quest 2 is playing over an hour longer than it did without it. I love that you can charge both the battery and the headset together with just the one usb adapter.
Taking one star off because I'm finding that the weight (3.5 oz) does effect the balance and comfort of the Quest 2 headset. Although it feels light initially, after playing any VR game that require a lot of movement, the front of the headset starts to feel heavy and more pressure is exerted on your face. It would be better to attach at the back of the headset, but the permanent cable on the battery is not long enough to reach. Still, it isn't a deal breaker and this battery is definitely extending the life of my Quest 2 for now.
