How to Remove unwanted Weed and Gross?

I have often wondered if these weed brushes work, this one which has a decent length handle and comes with three heads, certainly looks the part, my front garden is paved and a large variety of weeds often sprout up in the gaps, I normally just use my strimmer to cut them back but within a few weeks they are back.
The big problem is at the moment it's the middle of winter and my weed count is way down, so it's not possible to give this a proper work out, however I did find a few stubborn weeds that have survived and quite a bit of moss.
Trying this out on the moss it did do quite a good job as it gets down between the slabs and clears out the moss quite easy, on large weeds such as dandelions it's more a case of wearing them down and although it cuts them down further than the strimmer as expected there will be no difference with the grow back rate.
The brush is great for mossy areas, but as big weeds really need to be removed along with their roots it's not a lot better than my strimmer, the strimmer is quicker anyhow. How long will the brushes last? again on the thicker weeds it needed a real scrub to cut them down so I have a feeling the brush in my case might deteriorate quite quick when it comes to the weeding season, the scraper did help a little using that first then the brush.
Quality wise the product feels quite sturdy, it comes in sections which need to be screwed together and the top section is adjustable to give more or less Hight.

The overall quality of this item is very good. It arrives as a self-assembly unit, which takes no time at all to complete. The pole sections screw together and overlap to give the appearance of a single piece. It’s also much sturdier than I expected, which is exactly what’s needed for this application.

There is a folding clip near the handle that appears to do nothing. I tried opening and releasing it, assuming it might allow for some telescopic movement to slightly lengthen or shorten the pole, but nothing seems to happen. There were no instructions or references to this feature, so I’m unsure of its purpose.

The brush heads are well-assembled, sturdy, and more than capable of doing their job. I’ve tested them outside on my block paving, and they performed very well. Getting three separate heads means these will last me a very long time.

All in all, it’s a strong, well-built item that I would have no problem recommending if asked.

I've been using this to remove some stubborn marks and moss from my garage and patio area. The parts easily all screw together and I can confirm that they are all pretty rigid and tolerate with a good amount of punishment! I prefer wooden ended tools, as plastic ones can shear or split when left in sunlight for some time.

The wire end is very stiff and a good tool for clearing up concrete or brick. The scraper good and tough for scraping out stubborn weeds. You also don't need to attach all the handle segments - so if you don't happen to be 7ft tall (it goes quite long!) you can leave bits out.

The Mitclear weed remover brush is a very handy tool for tackling weeds and moss on patios, driveways, and garden paths. The 53-inch long handle makes it comfortable to use without having to bend over, which is great for avoiding back strain during extended use. The v-shaped wire brush is particularly good at getting into narrow gaps between paving stones, while the blade scraper on the end of the brush is excellent for stubborn moss or deeply rooted weeds.

I was fully expecting to be let down by the pole on this as in the advert pictures you can see the plastic screw bits on the end that screw into the next pole until you reach full length. I thought that the pole would be weak at those positions and easily bend or break when you applied a bit of pressure to really get those weeds scrubbed right out. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pole and it's design is a lot better than I expected.

The poles on this are made of steel, which is quite hollow and light so they give the impression that they are going to be weak but they are far from being weak. Although the bits on the end of the steel poles are made of plastic, they don't screw into the very end of the next pole, The bit you screw into has been set back into the body of the pole, so basically you slot one pole into the the other and the screw bit goes deeper into the other pole before it then screws into the bit at the back. This gives the poles such as strong fit and hold that you wouldn't guess that the pole came as multiple pieces. It feels quite strong and rigid as you have a part where it is metal to metal and then the screw bit inside just keeps the poles together. This gives you a lightweight pole that at the same time feels very solid. I guess time will tell as to how long it will last and I guess they could have gone for a stronger pole, but for the price its not bad and does the job.

It comes with three brush heads, which is a very welcome addition as it ensures the tool will last longer before needing replacements. The brush heads are sturdy as I have just tested them on a small area of my garden path so far and a bit of my patio. You can tell that after several uses that the bristles will eventually bend, especially if you really out some force into getting the weeds out. But I guess that is to be expected, and probably the reason why they have given you 3 brush heads in total. What I did find when I tested is that if you are not careful the wire bristles can easily flick debris around and I would highly recomend wearing safety goggles.

Overall this is a very useful tool and gets the job done fine, and although the pole feels quite sturdy, it has tended to flex a bit when I really put some force in, and I can't help but feel that the pole could still have been built a lot stronger. The reason why I have given this 4 stars is because there's something about this that just gives you the feeling that this isn't quite a top quality or premium product, and you feel it can definitely be improved upon.

This is a clever tool. We have a lot of pavers and despite landscape fabric and sand we still get enough weeds growing between the pavers to make it a chore. The roots go under the pavers so pulling can be a struggle. I like the V shape of the brass bristles to get into the gap. The bristles themselves are sturdy enough to take out the weeds and not damage the pavers. For really stubborn ones the steel wedge can be used straight on or at a right angle to take out the weed or disrupt it enough to make it easy to pull.
The handle threads together well. It's really a bit long for getting a lot of pressure on the head but leaving out a section or two makes it shorter for better leverage.
I'm not thrilled with the wood block but it's not enough to deduct a star. Truthfully, I'd almost be happier not using the handle at all to get maximum force and control.
I like that it comes with three heads so we'll get a lot of use from the kit.
Quite an ingenious idea for keeping paver paths neat and weed-free.

Good Tool For Cleaning Dirt and Weeds From Between Pavers

I have over 100 8x16 inch pavers around my greenhouse and I live in a rainy area, so mud gets in between the pavers and then weeds start to grow there. I was using a wire brush, to clean between the pavers, but that was hard on knees and back, plus it took a very long time to clean around all of them. This long handled Mitclear v-shaped wire brush works so much better. It doesn’t come with instructions, but you really don’t need any. The handle comes in three pieces that screw together and there is really only one way it can go, if you use all three pieces. It comes with three wire heads, too. There is a red snap on the top piece, just below the handle. If you unsnap it, the handle can extend about another foot. I used this tool to clean between my pavers, after it had been raining for several days. It easily fit in the cracks around each paver and cleaned out the mud. The weeds removed easily using the metal piece at the end of the wires. The wire head did need to be retightened a couple of times, as did the handle piece, but it was a lot easier than my old way of cleaning the pavers. I did not notice the wires wearing down, but in hard dirtI would guess they probably will, like my wire brush did. I am glad it came with two extra wire heads. So far, I am happy with it.

I try to get as much of it off before vacuuming and pressure washing the area. I try to keep as much of it out of the pool as possible. I saw this item and decided to try it. Much easier on my knees and no bending over.

The pole came in 4 pieces and easily screwed together. The top handle adjusts about 6 inches so you can achieve the perfect length for comfort. It came with 3 brush heads. The pole is made out of metal and feels more sturdier than expected. The wire brushes also feel much sturdier than I expected.

Overall, I am very happy with this tool. It exceeded my expectations.
I thought it would be more flimsily, and the brush heads would be cheap, but it is really good.

I am giving this Mitclear Weed Remover tool a three star review because it is a well made tool that definitely has some usefulness. I could not make it work as a weed remover, unfortunately. The things I like about the Mitclear are the sturdy handle, with multiple pieces to allow the user to create handles of different lengths, and the well made brush heads. There is a telescoping portion built in to the handle, it allows an extra 6-8" of length to be extended at the handle. The telescoping portion has a secure clamp and it works well to extend the tool during use. The Mitclear includes 3 brush heads. These heads have wire bristles to remove debris and weeds in between crevices, and a small metal point that dislodges weeds in the ground. All of the components are well made and they look great, but this tool did not work for the intended purpose when I tried. The metal bristles of the brush pulverized the tops of the weeds I tried to remove, but did nothing to the roots and stems so the weeds will definitely grow back in that spot. The metal point was ineffective against digging out established weeds, it is too short to get good leverage for removing weeds. However, the handle is useful and this tool will find a use somewhere in the garden. The metal point is helpful for digging rows, so it could assist with planting preparation.

However, when I got the device and opened the box I saw that the tube with the red screw end fits inside the other piece about an inch before you start to screw it together, making a very strong connection. That way the bending force is metal tube to metal tube and not plastic to plastic. The plastic piece just holds them together. Accept on the base where it attaches to the wood that holds the wire bristles, that is plastic to plastic, but it is much heavier plastic.
As you can see from my pictures, not only does it remove the weeds, but it cleans out the crevice as well.

However, when I got the device and opened the box I saw that the tube with the red screw end fits inside the other piece about an inch before you start to screw it together, making a very strong connection. That way the bending force is metal tube to metal tube and not plastic to plastic. The plastic piece just holds them together. Accept on the base where it attaches to the wood that holds the wire bristles, that is plastic to plastic, but it is much heavier plastic.
As you can see from my pictures, not only does it remove the weeds, but it cleans out the crevice as well.
Highly Recommended.
