A useful bit of kit, and a good addition to your Dewalt-based battery accessories.
Either manual or remote-operated, the 3-speed fan moves enough air to help keep you cool. The central light is also a very helpful feature, and would be great as a camping accessory.
Apart from the usual cooling aspect, this fan has another useful job... keeping dust away from your workpiece when cutting materials outdoors. It won't shift bigger debris of course (wood shavings etc) unless REALLY close, but for the fine dust generated when using a jigsaw for example, it will keep your cut-line visible as you work. The light also helps in that regard.
The remote control that comes with it is rather better than expected, more akin to a Firestick remote than the usual cheap flat/membrane types.
Overall build quality is 'OK', nothing more. In a real working environment I'm not sure it could stand up to too many knocks, but for home/DIY use it's fine.
The price is at the top end IMO, something closer to the £30 mark would be more realistic.
