This illuminated reticle eyepiece is useful to help ensure you have correctly centred stars when using alignment routines with telescope mounts. At12mm it gives a good level of magnification on all but the widest scopes, and the double lined crosshair makes it easy to see and align your chosen star. Focus of the crosshair is adjusted by rotating the top of the eyepiece.
The eyepiece is well put together -- optics are fine (although they don't have to be great as you are not using this for observing) and the on/off switch for the batteries is nice and smooth.
Pricewise this was cheaper than other similar designed eyepieces from other brands, but as far as I can tell without any loss in quality.

When aligning a goto mount or computer controlled mount it is essential to get the guide stars into the centre of the field of view. I'd been looking for a decent illuminated reticule for a while an saw the Sybony one.
First impressions out of the box were very favorable. The eyepiece is solidly made and has an adjustable focusing ring to ring the reticule into focus for the users eye.

I found the focusing ring a little loose but had some ptfe tape (plumbers tape) and wrapped a turn around the threads and it became snug - problem fixed. The battery carrier/LED tube is made from machined aluminium which is anodized and is very well made. The supplied batteries fitted in and there is an integral on/off switch which doubles up as a dimmer.

Attaching to the eyepiece is a doddle as it simply screws into the threaded hole in the side of the eyepiece.

Looking through the eyepiece the reticule is typically a divided vertical line with a corresponding divided horizontal line. Switching on the red LED you can dim it to suit and then use your mount to line up the desired object exactly in the centre of the reticule.

The lens is a very useful 12.5mm and produces a crystal clear image. Very impressed.

Overall this is an extremely well made illuminated reticule/eyepiece and is an absolute steal at this price. Well recommended.

Bought this to replace a similar product (by another manufacturer) which suffered from a loose focuser and which I had had to firm up with PTFE tape. (and the LED assembly finally broke so needed to get this new one). Much to my surprise has the same problem as my old one, so suspect is the same manufacturer as my old one but with a different label. I have since bought an entirely different reticle, with none of the looseness or problems.
The reticle is very crisp, optics good, but needs PTFE tape to keep reticle in focus

Delivered in time. Packed well for protection. The illuminator (solid from aluminium) screwed in correctly, providing the right illumination of the reticle. To focus the eyepiece on the reticle you need to unscrew the ocular several turns. To stay fixed in that position I added a rubber ring washer (from plumbing) and tighten it. Now I can put the cover on the lens without changing its position. The 12.5 mm Plossl gives clear image (maybe slightly narrow for alignment) but with a properly adjusted Finderscope that does not seem to be a problem.

Mauvaise météo pour le moment pour l'utiliser sur le ciel :-(
Première étape : La mise au point du réticule s'effectue en tournant la bague crantée, l'oculaire tenu à la main. Elle produit une image très contrastée de ce réticule. Cette étape doit être exécutée avant toute utilisation. Ensuite la mise au point de l'étoile s'effectuera de manière conventionnelle avec la molette de l'instrument. Ne pas faire la mise au point de l'étoile en tournant la bague crantée de l'oculaire !
Le réticule est bien visible même sans éclairage, qui me semble superflu.
L'éclairage, même en position minimale me semble fort. A confirmer sur le ciel.
Produit de qualité lors de son déballage et lors de ces premières manipulations.
Seconde étape : A compléter en situation ... sur le ciel !
Un oculaire de type Plossl (2 doublets se faisant face) est un gage de qualité d'image
