- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 July 2024Delicious Swiss cheese, arrived on time, and curls well in the girolle.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 December 2023Have ordered this cheese from other suppliers before and have been disappointed with the quality and condition. Was a bit nervous about ordering from an unknown supplier. This arrived promptly, vac packed in perfect condition with a long use by date, excellent packaging which kept it cold. It’s a half cheese rather than whole, but that suits me.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 December 2023Delicious product, well packaged abd delivered a day earlier than expected.
Great taste and great service
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 June 2023Great purchase, and with the curler fun for a wine and cheese party :)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 November 2020This cheese is placed in the centre of a cheese curler with a sharp blade above it with a handle that guests turn themselves to slice off a curled tissue paper thin portion of cheese. They enjoy helping themselves to this.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 January 2021Half wheel was a very bad idea. I think when the wheel was halved it was exposed to moisture before it arrived, despite it being in a vac-pac. The cheese was falling to bits. Last year I had bought the whole wheel and it was amazing but was a bit too much to go through. So this year I thought I’d buy the half wheel as it was a small Xmas for two due to lockdown. But this time the half wheel of cheese was falling to bits as we try to scrape it, instead of making little ribbons as it normally does. Lesson learned. I’ll go for the whole wheel next time around.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 May 2021This is the perfect cheese to have when you want to spice up your usual supermarket cheese board. I think the price was better than my local cheese shop.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 January 2022A Tete de Moine is a Christmas tradition in our house, but this year we were disappointed. The cheese had a completely different texture to what we've become used to. Rather than being firm enough to give a nice curl, it was wet, crumbly and flavourless. Due to the crumbly texture, by the time we'd eaten less than half the wheel, it had pretty much fallen apart, so it went in the bin.
We haven't been put off Tete de Moine, but we'll definitely use a different supplier next year.
