Used it over night. In the storm we have. December 2024. Just me, the dog and a bivi bag and a ground Matt.
Didn’t bother with a poncho over the top as the wind would have just taken it away.
Had my Helikon poncho liner on and just this sleeping bag. Over night temperature was about 2c and in the morning about 3c.
I’ll keep this one. Plus! The zip didn’t snag once. Stuff sack is good, just wish it was about two inches longer as that would be easier to pack. Still, it went in and we had our walk back to the car and back home for breakfast.
I’d recommend it. It is a summer night sleeping bag. Yet, with my poncho liner on it was perfect. Stayed in that nice comfortable heat not too hot and not too cold.
To the people who make it. Good on you with the zip. And at 6ft 3 tall, the bag was great.
