Inflating was quick by foot, tested inflation by pushing down with hands as i won't be able to do with feet in the space I'll have, it took less than 3 minutes which is good i think. Deflated quickly with cap off and stores away well. I tested it overnight with load of heavy things on it, got up this morning still fully inflated. Size is good although i wish they did them less length as I'm short and will be in a tight space, but thats not an issue with it, more of a preference. Feels comfortable and strong. It has good thickness and width to support your arms and prevent any contact with floor when moving in different positions. Used to tent camp loads over the years but I’ve been spoiled by having a classic camper van with 4 inch foam mattress, so when I went back to proper camping and dug out my old Thermarest self inflating mat I was in for a shock at just how uncomfortable it was in every way and how little sleep I got. Awful. I’m no youngster any more but honestly I was awake most of the night.

So I did some research and got one of these.

First off inflation. This has a built in foot pump. It does take a while, and it is a bit noisy at times, sounding like a wounded animal every now and then.
The first time I used it I inflated it at home a day before and weighted it overnight to prove it would hold air, then used it several times with a new tent in the garden.
Also I found that there’s a sweet spot where it’s hard enough to stop you sinking through not and soft enough to be comfy and not roll off it, this is important so you’ll need to gauge that for your own weight. It stayed up several nights without losing any air.
I’m 6’1” and 80kg and chose this one for the width as I find I can roll off a narrow mat, and was pleased with my choice. The raised edges also help with this as they hold you in a bit.
The built in ‘pillow’ is also useful, although with broad shoulders I added a folded fleece under a t-shirt pulled over the pillow part, which worked fairly well.
The surface material is a little slippery though, I guess that’s to be expected with any mat really.
The thickness, or depth, is what makes all the difference, absorbing any bumps beneath and providing sufficient gap between the ground to allow for a comfy level of inflation and at no point did it ‘bottom out’.
Slept very well on it!
Deflating and rolling up wasn’t really an issue, folded it into 3 lengthways and rolled it to squeeze the air out and it went into its bag easily.
Can’t speak for longevity or durability yet but so far I’m really pleased with it.
It takes a little more time to inflate and is a bit noisy at times when pumping, but it’s well worth it for the sleeping experience in my opinion.

I was really pleased with this mat when we camped along the West Highland Way this summer. I have issues with my hips and back if I don't get enough support, so I went for the extra thick mat, and even though the weight and size difference to the less thick versions was semi-significant, it wasn't a deal-breaker. Pumping it up is a little awkward if the ground outside is wet or rocky and you have to do it in the tent but can't properly stand up to do it, but it still works, even if you need to use your hand instead of your foot. It deflates really quickly and you can pack it away within a minute or two. Add great customer service and support by Trinordic into it, and you've got a winning combo. Would definitely recommend.

Die Trinordic Extradicke Aufblasbare Isomatte ist eine wirklich tolle Isomatte/Luftmatratze. Sie wird geliefert in einem transparenten plastikähnlichem Beutel der, lt. Aufschrift, biologisch abbaubar ist - finde ich schon mal echt gut. In dem plastikähnlichem Beutel ist die Matratze in ihrer Aufbewahrungshülle, welche wirklich sehr reichlich bemessen ist. Die Matratze selbst wird mit einem Gummiband zusammengehalten, unter welchem die Anleitung und zwei (leider farblich nicht passende) Reparaturflicken zu finden sind.

Sehr angenehm empfand ich, dass sie nicht nach "Chemie" gestunken hat. Ein leichter Geruch war da, aber nichts, was mir Sorgen machen würde oder mich gar dazu angehalten hätte, sie über Nacht auf den Balkon zum auslüften zu legen.

Wie in der Anleitung (für den ersten Gebrauch) beschrieben, habe ich die Matratze ausgerollt und erst mal liegen gelassen, sie nach der angegebenen Zeit wie im angefügten Video zu sehen ist, in in unter 2 Minuten (ohne mich zu beeilen, es ginge also noch schneller wenn man mag) aufgepumpt.
Ich habe die Matratze 2 Tage liegen lassen, habe mich ab und an mal drauf gelegt und bin sogar manchmal darüber gelaufen, sie hat kein bisschen Luft verloren. Auch empfinde ich das Material als recht angenehm auf der Haut, nicht klebrig, fast (aber nur fast) schon Stoff-ähnlich.
Das Kopfteil ist wirklich höher, wäre mir eigentlich als Kissen hoch genug, aber es ist halt kein Kissen, ich werde mir da ein sehr flaches Kissen dafür machen, das - so schätze ich - bekomme ich sogar noch in die Hülle mit rein.

Nach dem Luft ablassen, einmal in voller Breite aufrollen (um die Luft zu entfernen), wieder ausrollen, falten und erneutem Aufrollen habe ich ziemlich genau (nicht ganz, aber fast) das originale Packmaß wieder erreicht und sie wieder problemlos in die Aufbewahrungshülle gepackt (siehe die letzten beiden Fotos).

Ich, bzw. wir (ich habe zwei Matratzen gekauft) sind rundum zufrieden mit den Matratzen, auf denen wir mit Sicherheit sehr gut schlafen werden. Das Packmaß ist für unseren Einsatzzweck super. Von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ich habe die Matratze 2 Tage liegen lassen, habe mich ab und an mal drauf gelegt und bin sogar manchmal darüber gelaufen, sie hat kein bisschen Luft verloren. Auch empfinde ich das Material als recht angenehm auf der Haut, nicht klebrig, fast (aber nur fast) schon Stoff-ähnlich.
Das Kopfteil ist wirklich höher, wäre mir eigentlich als Kissen hoch genug, aber es ist halt kein Kissen, ich werde mir da ein sehr flaches Kissen dafür machen, das - so schätze ich - bekomme ich sogar noch in die Hülle mit rein.

Nach dem Luft ablassen, einmal in voller Breite aufrollen (um die Luft zu entfernen), wieder ausrollen, falten und erneutem Aufrollen habe ich ziemlich genau (nicht ganz, aber fast) das originale Packmaß wieder erreicht und sie wieder problemlos in die Aufbewahrungshülle gepackt (siehe die letzten beiden Fotos).

Ich, bzw. wir (ich habe zwei Matratzen gekauft) sind rundum zufrieden mit den Matratzen, auf denen wir mit Sicherheit sehr gut schlafen werden. Das Packmaß ist für unseren Einsatzzweck super. Von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
