Bought this in conjunction with a Crucial 1Tb SSD for an iMac. It is a simple setup, just plug the SSD in and the other end to the computer, A quick formatting of the SSD and it is ready to go. This connector has reduced the back up time for a 1Tb disk from 22 minutes down to 8. The only thing the Ugreen connector is missing is an indicator light (my other connector has a flashing blue light to indicate activity), but it doesn't really matter as the activity is shown on the computer screen.
