The only downside of this Capture Card is that you have to use OBS instead of a dedicated software, which is normally great but I have noticed that I get slightly higher ping with OBS, even though you should really use passthrough for watching the game and OBS should just be for recording, but sometimes I am too lazy to set up a passthrough and just play through the capture image.
I have had no issues with this, flawless experience, and this is yet another product from UGREEN that shows how great their products are. You get 4k passthrough but only at 30fps (or 1080 at 120fps which is good but keep in mind that you're not getting 240fps for example) and you can record 2k at only 30fps (or 1080p at 60fps which is alright), so the only thing that matters is that you're getting good quality but not necessarily a great framerate.
You have to think about the price here though - you are great an incredible performing Capture Card for a third of the Elgator prices, despite them having dedicated software. I don't like the flimsy rubber type-C to type-A dongle that is attached, as those usually break fairly easily in my experience (I've never broken one but someone in my family always breaks them somehow...), but hopefully once you set it up, you don't have to move it.
