    If you are trying to track down the Italian song Catari, you will more easily find it under its formal title, Core N'Grato. Or, even more easily, buy this CD, it is Track 14. The CD is worth the money for this alone. Approximating, half of the first 20 tracks are opera favourites, and half are lighter. All are great. The 21st, labelled Bonus Track, is a duet with Elton John. Hmmm.

    Pavarotti was such a wonderful character and person, it can only be good to gave his voice, I am still getting used to it. It is so different to listening to Julio Inglesios, who is very intimate. The great Pavarotti voice, calculated to reach the furthest corners of the auditorium is really very vigorous, I like him best played in a room away - our house is small, thus the rooms also, diffucult to cope with a robust voice like that however much one adores him, Maria Callas with that fragile voice, we listen to in bed and sleep so well after. I listen to Radio Classique in the morning while doing the chores, and when I hear a certain voice I stop in my tracks to listen and appreciate, it is always Pavarotti.

    The late great (well clichéd) Pavarotti. Just amazing to listen to and sing to his treatment of Italian songs as well as classics and opera. The songs (some of which are so well known in English) always sound much better in Italian, and usually produce more tears as well - they just seem to tug at the heart-strings more compared with the English versions.
