The screen is easy to read and understand, includes different types of readings and tells you if you have a dangerous amount of alcohol in your system. Can read if alcohol is still in your system even the morning after drinking, which is good if you are worried about being caught out. Does need batteries to run which is perfect for us. It's very light and compact so it's easy to keep in the car, or in a bag without getting in the way. It also comes with a little bag to keep it in so you can keep all the parts together, you can also fit extra batteries in this if you're worried about it running out of power but I couldn't imagine this happening any time soon.

Initially it worked very well when tested after a day of drinking. The next morning, I ran a test to see if my blood/alcohol levels were safe so I could go and pick up my car that I left at the pub.

It showed zero 0 mg/100ml! There is no way this is correct. I reset it, powered it down, changed the batteries, but it still showed zero! It's now on it's way back to ��غ��, where my search continues for a reliable morning after breathalyser.

Bought this ahead of the Christmas holiday and party season. As part of my job I need to travel 35 miles each way, four days a week and though I try to stay off the booze during the week, during this season and after birthday parties and nights out, it is so important to be safe - for you and everyone else sharing the roads.

This item was at an excellent price and right away it seemed to pick up on every detail. Really simple to use and supplied with mouthpieces, so ready to go out the box with a couple of batteries. It seems very accurate - obviously I don't have a police breathalyser for comparison but it seemed to match up. When I had a pint and a half, it was on the borderline. A drink later and it was showing as a caution and one afterwards it was very clearly beeping as warning. Obviously this was a test and I was not driving after, but for my size and build this seemed to match with UK guidelines.

I work in a professional healthcare role and I have sadly seen many practitioners caught out "the morning after" and that could be the difference between a career and a non-career. This is an excellent bit of kit that might just save your life and the lives of others in many different ways. 100% recommended

Das wichtigste ist, dass man frühestens 20 Minuten nach dem letzten alkoholischen Getränk das Gerät verwendet - ich habe zwar nicht versucht, was sonst passiert. Aber es dürfte klar sein, dass sonst der empfindliche Sensor komplett überlastet und vermutlich auch beschädigt wird. Ich wäre nicht überrascht, wenn die eine oder andere negative Rezension auf einer solchen Fehlbedienung beruht.

Durch normale Batterien ist man unabhängig von leeren Akkus und ähnlichen Ärgernissen.

Wenn man nach dem ersten Piep beginnt zu pusten und erst stoppt, wenn es das nächste mal piept, bekommt man Messwerte, die nur sehr gering voneinander abweichen und mit der Zeit langsam absinken. Das Gerät ist gut ablesbar, einfach zu bedienen und schnell Betriebsbereit.

Es wäre sicherlich etwas riskant, darauf zu vertrauen dass das Gerät 0,499 angezeigt hat, also wäre man "Sicher". Aber für einen Eindruck und die grobe Selbsteinschätzung ist das Gerät geeignet.

Ich werde das Gerät NICHT im Auto aufbewahren, da die Temperaturschwankungen dort eher ungesund für die empfindliche Sensorik sein könnten.

Für den Preis von knapp über 30€ kann ich das Gerät durchaus empfehlen.

Without obvious cause, the unit started giving crazy readings regardless of who was blowing into it and what state of actual inebriation they were in. Then it started giving error codes 1 and 3, but there is no mention of error codes in the manual. Tried using the "reset" button on the back and it did nothing. Tried to find this company online and they literally don't exist. The manual mentions a German marketing company called Meiz Tech GMBH. There is no information on them being related to this VPow unit. Feel like I got scammed. VERY DISAPPOINTING. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
