How many strains does this contain?

Our product contains two strains of bacteria called Bacillus Coagulans and Bacillus Subtilis. These bacteria are activated by the acidic conditions within the gut to spore and proliferate in the small intestine.

What are the benefits of Multispore?

It is for digestive support and gut health and helps to support the immune system.

Can you take Activated Charcoal and Multispore together?

Yes you can but we advise taking them 2 hours apart.

Should you keep this product in the fridge?

Refrigeration of our probiotic supplement is desirable but not essential. The vast majority of the "live" bacteria will still remain, so it is fine to be stored at an ambient temperature.

I've tried a number of different probiotics for my IBS and acid reflux. A lot of them can have the adverse effect of antagonising the situation and causing brain fog or other side effects. I actually rate this product quite a lot. It seems to have drastically settled my stomach and mitigated my acid reflux, which I think is testament to the bacillus coagulans strain that it contains. I've only been taking it for 3-4 days so far, so it's maybe a bit early to tell, but initial signs are very promising. Obviously, IBS involves a number of factors such as stress and overall diet, so it's not going to be an outright cure but it certainly helps to diminish symptoms.

I researched pro and prebiotics extensively before I purchased this particular brand. I suffer from agonising spasms of the common bile duct following gall bladder surgery and pancreatitis. My research led me to believe that 'leaky gut' my be the cause of my problems and that repopulating the gut with friendly bacteria would help. I have been taking this supplement for 3 weeks and so far haven't had any further spasms - the bloating has stopped completely and my stomach feels calmer. Also, I've had no nausea on eating since taking this product so I am hopeful that further surgical intervention and/or drugs will prove not to be necessary now. Fingers crossed! I shall definitely be continuing to take it and am so glad I found it.

I've also read that imbalance in gut bacteria can cause inflammation in the body and I also suffer from painful osteoarthritis so I'm hopeful that taking this supplement, together with Omega Fish oils and a good wholefood diet will address this issue also.

I have tried similar products before but they did not agree with me. This one caused no problems whatsoever this may be because it contains some sort of digestive enzyme blends. The prebiotic inulin seems to have a very good reputation and I was interested in trying a supplement that contains it. I have recently had to take two lots of antibiotics and was delighted to learn that this supplement is suitable to take along with the antibiotics. I personally believe a probiotic helps to keep me from catching tummy bugs while abroad - took it with me to France and stayed healthy, as opposed to being rather sick on other trips, previously! The service from the Love Life company is excellent, posting being prompt as well as helpful advice always available.

I started making Milk Kefir 18 months ago after having some digestive problems linked to a course of antibiotics taken after a knee operation. It helped in sorting out the problems and I have continued to take the drink daily.
The benefits of taking probiotics are well documented and they have been linked with; balancing gut flora which helps to prevent and treat diarrhoea, heart health, helping with allergies such as eczema, weight loss and boosting the immune system. Most people these days do not get enough probiotics in their diets and gut flora can be damaged by too much sugar in our diets, too much alcohol and stress.
I have trialled the Lactospore capsules for a month, stopping the Milk Kefir production. The bottle contains three months supply, one a day, and each capsule contains a billion bacteria which is generally considered to be a beneficial dose. As when I started with Milk Kefir, there was a period of adjustment with some mild “digestive turbulence” for 3-4 days. After that, I can neither see nor feel any difference when compared with the Milk Kefir. The big advantage of the Lactospore capsules is the convenience. Making Milk Kefir is a bit messy and time consuming. It needs refrigerating and batches do vary in taste and composition. If you are travelling or away for a weekend, you need a means of keeping it cold. There can also be issues for those who are lactose intolerant or just don't like milk, although many find that there is no problem. The Lactospore capsules do not need refrigeration and the bacteria, Bacillus Coagulans, are not harmed by acidic conditions in the gut.
For the sort of busy lifestyle where getting effective quantities of probiotics in a measured and convenient way is difficult, the Lactospore capsules will be an answer.
