Product Description

Our High Visibility Rucksack yellow dry bag backpack designed for cycling and motorcycle use. The hi vis rucksack will keep your gear dry when cycling and improve your visibility to other road users increasing safety. 30L capacity and does not need a separate cover. The rucksacks are made from a high-vis, fluorescent, yellow PVC material and have several retro reflective panels and stripes which reflect light back in the direction from where it originated. This means that car headlights are reflected back towards the driver and the bag appears to glow when gently illuminated. Unlike many other cycling backpacks this model does not require a separate cover to keep your gear dry. The dry bag features a roll down closure and RF-welded seams to give a watertight bag that will protect the contents from driving rain when moving at speed. The bags also feature a comfortable carrying system with padded shoulder straps, a waist belt and a chest strap.

The front of the shoulder straps also have retro reflective strips on them to improve visibility from the front. The bags feature a removable internal mesh pocket suitable for a wallet or other small items. The bag is closed by rolling down the top 3-4 times and fastening it down at each side.

Bought this because - well - decent reviews, great price and most importantly - waterproof. It’s even better than I anticipated. And for a big bag the weight distribution is excellent. My daily commute includes 15” laptop in sleeve, 12.9” iPad in sleeve, two cable organiser bags full of cables and plugs, heavy duty bike lock, bike pump, occasionally additional shoes and clothes. Super roomy - takes a whole universe of kit. And yet it feels light and manageable on my back - sternum and waist straps help with that and they fit comfortably even though I’m a fifty-something (non-Lycra wearing) big unit dressed in several layers. And through a number of grim rainstorms so far, everything (inside the bag) has stayed bone dry. If only I could travel inside the bag! Can’t imagine for the life of me why you’d need to spend more on a cycling backpack when this is way out in front of more ‘prestigious’ brands. Great job Lomo, you genuinely rock!

Great bag! I have recently started cycling to work and realised that my usual backpack couldn't fit my stuff in and was getting drenched in the bad weather(2 soggy backpacks is not a good look). This bag has kept all of my belongings dry and feels so much lighter, even when it is stuffed to the brim with books, clothes, a pair of shoes etc. I feel safer on the road with the hi-viz feature and the straps and padding at the back make it feel comfortable. Pros: Comfy, high visibility, keeps your stuff dry, lightweight. The only con I can think of is that it doesn't have compartments, so if it's full trying to find things in it is like putting your hand into Hermione's bottomless bag. However, I did know that it didn't have compartments when buying it so can't really complain - it would just make me love it even more.

Having used this bag now for 3 months I really like it. It has kept my gear dry in very heavy rain. It fits well, one little niggle was the shoulder straps were not even (as in the length of material available to adjust the tension) but luckily I didnt need to make major changes. One thing that would be a nice add on is a small front or side pocket, just for keys,wallet etc. As having to open the bag to get to small stuff is a slight inconvenience, but apart from that its a great bag, highly visible and shows no major signs of any wear and tear.

I've bought two of these over the past few months; the first for myself, and the second for my partner. The quality of the Lomo is the first pleasant surprise. As other reviewers have no doubt commented, these bags can take a substantial amount of punishment. I've yet to see any visible signs of wear other than slight degradation of the luminescent strips. My partner takes better care of hers and it basically looks pristine, although it's been in continuous use for months.

I cycle to work on a daily basis regardless of the weather conditions and my Lomo has been an absolute godsend. If this sounds suspiciously like a paid review, I can assure you that I'd be unwilling to sell out for a measly £35. It really is a terrific bag.

Quality aside, the size suits my particular needs perfectly. It accommodates my gym gear, laptop and assorted junk with ample room to spare and is great for shopping trips. It's not, admittedly, particularly easy on the eye, but I do feel more confident that other road users are able to see me in low-light conditions. All things considered, it's easily the best cyclist's bag available for under £100. Get it.

It's ok. It's a big dry bag. I just wish there was a less strappy way to close it. The top just rolls down over itself. Then you click the side clips tp clips attached to adjustable straps on side. So you hook both arms in. There is a chest strap. There is a waist strap. Then there is the 2 side locking straps.

Lots of storage. Very bright n visible.

J'ai ce sac depuis 2-3 ans et commence à montrer quelques signes d'usure sans gravité car je le maltraite un peu. Grande taille quoique un peu étroit et aucune poche intérieure. Tout est empilé à l'intérieur. Kit de réparation , trousse de secours, vêtements pour intempéries. Si on veut mettre des documents mieux vaut les mettre dans une pochette rigide. Je peux mettre mon pc portable.
Le système de fermeture permet une bonne étanchéité à vélo mais à mon avis on ne peut pas faire un sport aquatique avec ce sac qui n'est pas étanche à 100%. Ceux qui ont mis des mauvaises notes pour ce sac n'ont simplement pas compris le système de fermeture. les 2 clips femelles du haut sont attachés vers le bas avec 2 sangles équipé de clip mâles. C'est donc pas un défaut de fabrication.

Für mich als Vielfahrer mit dem Rad sind sichtbare Rucksäcke die Lebensretter schlechthin.

Ich hatte zuerst einen Rucksack von ProViz, der sehr gut "wirkte" aber so schlecht verarbeitet war, dass er nach 2 Jahren schon fast auseinander fiel. (Minderwertige Reisverschlüsse - einen Vaude Rucksack nehme ich schon seit 6 Jahren ohne Probleme) Seitdem benutze ich eine Rucksackhaube von proViz und einen Vaude Rucksack - aber ich merkte, dass ich manchmal zu faul war, etwas rüber zu stülpen und damit die Gefahr einlud.

Hinzu kommt, dass ich als Mountainbike Fahrer bei Schlechtwetter (Winter) den Modder kaum vom Textil mit Leuchtfarbe runterbekommen habe...

hier punktet der Lomo Packsack!
Scheinbar sehr gute Qualität, der Packsack ist aus einer Art LKW Plane. Leuchtet und ist super einfach zu reinigen. Wasserdicht! Solch großzügige Reflektoren hätte ich gerne an Standard Rucksäcken! Seitliche Schnappverschlüsse verschließen den "Rucksack, dessen Deckel gerollt wird" sieht für mich sehr Dauerhaltbar aus!
Polster an der Rückenregion machen das Tragen ausreichend angenehm. War jetzt über Himmelfahrt 100km je Strecke und leichtem Gepäck (Kleidung) unterwegs und fand ihn sehr angenehm. Bauartbedingt ist das Teil natürlich ein "Sack" - es gibt keine weiteren Taschen/Fächer im Inneren. Cleveres Stapeln ist angesagt.

Dafür ist der Stauraum großzügig verfügbar ... die Größe ist mit 30 l "mittel" - genau richtig für den täglichen Bedarf. Der Rucksack ist eher hoch als breit, was beim Radeln angenehm ist. Bei Tragegütern die kantig oder spitz zum Rückenbereich laufen, muss eventuell etwas Flächiges wie ein Ordner davor gelegt werden, da der Rucksack kaum verhindert, dass es einem in den Rücken drückt. (das haben aber alle Rucksäcke, deren Rückenbereich nicht verstärkt, oder getrennt ist)

Fazit: mein neuer Lieblingsrucksack fürs tägliche Radeln!
