I wanted to feed the sound from a Sony DVD player with co-axial audio output plus a Humax PVR with Optical output into my hi-fi, an ancient Yamaha with phono plug inputs. This clever box almost worked for me. The sound conversion was flawless for my purposes. Unfortunately, I found that the optical input took preference over the co-ax. I had hoped I could leave both plugged in and simply turn on the source I wanted to hear, but plugging in the optical lead nuked the other one until I unplugged it. This is mentioned in the paperwork that came with the converter, but not in the ��غ�� blurb. So the box is relegated to converting the co-ax signal, I used the analogue outputs on the Humax and I have to switch inputs on the Yamaha. Not a major problem but that's why I gave 4 stars not 5. Still excellent value and really well made

In my bedroom I us my TV only with headphones (Sony MDR SX310).
I wanted a better sound if possible.
I use digital out from TV into the DAC. The problem is I have no volume control from the TV because the digital output. I bought a Lepy LP-168 miniamp and I'm all done.
Most of the headphones can do better than what a dedicated TV output can offer to them.

So, for a better sound, a DAC and a miniapm will do the trick (but not for high-end seekers, of course)

If u are a Sky Q subscriber and want to listen to Tv shows on wireless headphones (not Bluetooth) this gadget is for you.
Easy set up, connect optical cable to Q box and this device, plug in wireless headphone jack and turn on power and ur are done..... It's just works.

Note... I am a setting fiddler. So I had to switch the Q box optical back to normal to alow this gadget to work.... So it yours doesn't work first time this maybe the reason.

Finally. I had another device that allowed me to listen to Sky Q box but the volume was very low. This devise has very loud volume. It's exactly what I wanted.

Dunque, compro in una nota catena di elettrodomestici un convertitore da digitale ad analogico con tecnologia in bluetooth in output...risultato perdita di tempo e di pazienza (poca già in partenza) tentando inutilmente di collegare le mie cuffie bt al trasmettitore...risultato: prodotto reso e tempo perso. Poi acquisto ieri sera questo "giocattolino". Nel primo pomeriggio suona il trasportatore che mi lascia la classica busta di cartone. Penso:"..tutto qui???"...apro e il convertitore è piccolo ( per dare un ordine di grandezza, come un pacchetto di sigarette)...il sopracciglio si alza titubante: sarà una "sola". Collego il cavo ottico e il cavo di ricarica usb entrambi in dotazione, inserisco il Jack delle cuffie "più anziane" con la loro bella prolunga da 2m, accendo la tv e magia funziona tutto subito al primo colpo investendo ben 30 secondi di tempo per collegare i due cavi. Nota da non sottovalutare: il controllo del volume. Facile ed economico. Consigliatissimo per chi ha tv sprovvisto sia di uscita x collegare cuffie che di bluetooth e guardasi di sera un film o una serie senza rompere " i sacrosantissimi" a mogli/figli/genitori.
