Connection and Operation：Put the Repeater close to the source

(Example for transmitting 4K/60Hz at a distance of 16m)

2. Perfect Signal: DVD -- 1m HDMI 2.0 Cable -- HDMI Repeater (5V Power Supply) -- 15m HDMI 2.0 Cable -- HDTV

3. If the transmission distance is longer than 20m, the repeater needs to be installed at half of the distance

We now have a clear HDMI signal from our box in the living room via a splitter and a15M cable to the kitchen using x2 these inline boosters. Very pleased.

I was a bit sceptical whether this would solve our problem or not.
Here's the problem...For our meetings we plug into a schools system with a 10m HDMI cable. from the wall the cable then goes about 12m to the overhead projector. The overal length resulted in a broken up picture with Also in PowerPoint presenter mode - it came up with an out of sync error message.
With the repeater plugged in to the end of our 10m cable and a short cable to the wall socket it worked properly and with vastly improved picture and no out of sync message. Well worth the cost and it worked better than expected. One caveat the Chinglish instructions give conflicting information whether to use the power input. In our case the power IS needed. Without it it wouldn't work. However although the unit comes with a USB-round plug cable it does NOT come with a USB power adaptor, so you will need to remember to buy one or see if you have a spare one to use.
Now we can run PowerPoint in correct presenter mode and with a good clear picture so a well deserved 5 stars. Its a compact but solidly made unit (metal Case) and comes with a mounting bracket if this is needed.

I bought this HDMI range extender to boost a camera and camcorder signal over a 20m HDMI cable. Without the booster I could not get a stable video signal (or any signal) at a video switch (an ATEM Mini Pro) that is located at the back of a hall away from the cameras. I suppose I should be pleased that the boosters worked but they did not work in the way expected. Strangely I found they worked best when they were at the video switch end and not the camera/camcorder end. So rather than working as a "booster" they were working rather better as a more sensitive pickup than the ATEM video switcher. A bit surprised and confused, but there you go.

Oggi, con la diffusione del 4K, sempre più spesso vengono eseguiti cablaggi domestici comprendenti lunghi cavi HDMI per portare il video di alta qualità da una stanza all'altra, ma senza preoccuparsi del degrado che il cavo stesso determina sul segnale, soprattutto quando ci si estende di 10 metri e più. In questi casi è opportuno utilizzare un cavo HDMI 2.0b unitamente ad un amplificatore come questo, che funziona davvero bene, permettendo di trasferire il segnale 4K, anche HDR (HLG), stendendo due cavi HDMI, uno in ingresso e uno in uscita, che possono arrivare ad una lunghezza massima di 15 metri ciascuno, per un totale di 30 metri. Non è poco e non sono molti i dispositivi in commercio che consentano tali prestazioni. Funziona anche con SKY Q Italia.
In assenza dell'amplificatore, il segnale 4K HDR può essere portato ad una distanza massima approssimativa di soli 2 metri.
