My wife and often take part in Motor Sport Uk (MSUK) approved planned drives in our 64 year old sports car. On these drives, we are given a “Tulip” style route book. This requires her to navigate from the book and give me instructions on upcoming waypoints, etc. Trying to talk over the sound of the engine can get a bit difficult.
I was looking at some of the pro rally driving comms sets. These run out at around £600 - £800. This a lot more than I wanted to pay for comms set that we would use about 4 times a year.
These Retevis headsets work perfectly with a couple of their 2-way radios. The noise cancelling systems are excellent and we don’t have to keep asking each other for check or repeat instructions.
Does the job perfectly and certainly better value for money.
