You need some strength to get it right but it is very well made in my opinion. When it arrived I was very impressed. Well packaged with everything you need to install and set up, including a variety of bolts, washers and spacers needed to attach almost every kind of monitor.
Went ahead and fitted to the stand and connected up all the cables, including the power supply to the 'Superspeed' USB hub built into the base. I was initially happy with the stand which was definitely strong enough to support my 28" monitor.
However, the USB hub is a different matter. Although it's described as 'Superspeed' and uses the standard USB colouring of blue sockets, it clearly cannot handle USB 3 devices or cable being attached! As soon as a USB 3 cable is plugged in the hub will crash and all the sockets and anything attached will cease to work. After checking the internet, it appears I'm not the only person to have experienced this.
As I've now attached my monitor, fitted it to my desk and cable managed everything to my PC and thrown away the original packaging, I'm not happy with the prospect of dismantling it all again and trying to return it for a refund so I've reluctantly disabled the USB ports and it's now just an overpriced basic monitor stand.

This has been perfect (so far..) for my AW3821DW.

I recently purchased myself a 38inch Ultrawide screen and although the factory provided stand was excellent it was taking up too much room on my desk. I started looking for a good sturdy mount for it. I initially tried a cheaper amazonbasics wall mount designed for TV's. It might work for TV's but for my monitor it was terrible. It didnt feel very safe and was a nightmare trying to adjust the position of the screen. Not wanting to risk damage to a 4 figure screen I stopped using it the same day.

I bought this after seeing it recommended on the ultrawide reddit. It was a bit of a pain to set up on my own but this is mainly the fault of my choice of desk, an IKEA FREDDE, which didnt provide me much room to maneuver for installing and limited places to mount the base.

I've only had it set up 1 day so far but its near perfect. There is a good amount of adjustability with nothing feeling flimsy and there is ZERO sag on the mount. The USB Hub is also super convenient.

Highly reccomend this for larger or heavier screens

Investigué mucho sobre los brazos del monitor que podrían soportar mi Samsung CRG90 de 49 pulgadas que pesa un poco más de 11 kg. El modelo más recomendado es el Ergoton HX y el subcampeón fue Arctic Z1 Pro. Teniendo en cuenta que el modelo anterior cuesta 4 veces más, primero quería probar el Arctic Z1 Pro. Me sorprende gratamente que los brazos no solo podrían sostener el peso del monitor, sino que también evitaran que la cabeza del monitor se inclinara hacia abajo. Si está usando esto con un monitor ultra ancho como yo, sugiero ajustar el ángulo de inclinación ANTES de colocar el brazo en el monitor. Si su monitor es muy pesado, no podrá mantener la inclinación en posición vertical incluso si 2 personas lo intentaron, por lo que es más fácil ajustar la inclinación para que sea recta, apretar los pernos tanto como pueda y luego sujetar el brazo a la parte trasera del monitor. Sin embargo, es probable que esto no soporte el peso del Samsung Odessey G9, que es de 15 kg. Siento que con 11.x kg, el brazo tiene la carga de trabajo máxima. Aunque las instrucciones dicen que soporta hasta 15 kg, no me sentiría seguro colgando un monitor de 15 kg.

Je l'ai pris pour mettre un ecran ultra wide 43" de 15kg et je peux dire qu'il tiens l'ecran parfaitement sans bougé, c'est l'un des seules bras que j'avais trouvé capable de tenir un écran si lourd.
Avec en bonus un hub usb finalement très pratique.
Bref je recommande.

After digging around in the /r/buildapcsales subreddit looking for posts about deals on monitor arms back around Black Friday 2019, I came across a post from Arctic employee that engaged the other posters. I've always been a fan of that kind of customer service and it endears a company to me, and while I thought it was cool, I ended up picking up a single arm from another company.

Fast forward to now and I found myself wanting to move to a three-monitor setup. Once again, I went digging through Reddit and once again found the post I described above. This time, I messaged the rep, described what I needed, and here we are.

In addition to this arm, I picked up a two-monitor extension arm. The arms were easy enough to switch out so that two monitors are on bottom and one is on top.

The arms are a snap to tighten or loosen and the included cable management clip that goes around the pole has holes for the hex keys that come with the stand. I have a Viewsonic XG2401 mounted on it that's 7.6 lbs. Once tightened, the monitor arm has not slipped, and tilting it down felt solid. Some arms feel flimsy, even when fully tightened, but not this one. The pole has good weight to it and the threads screwed into the pole extension tightly.

What is the bad? I can't really say there is any. While the arms on the extension don't give me quite the range that my old dual-monitor stand did, the arm on this is able to be positioned exactly in the middle of my other monitor, which is exactly what I need. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it, so it's not a bad thing and certainly doesn't deserve to be docked a star.

Although the customer service isn't part of the rating, between posting on Reddit and immediately taking care of a minor packaging issue that wasn't their fault, the customer service is top notch. The Arctic arms might be more expensive than other setups, and might not be available via Prime (at least when I wrote this), but the customer service makes up for it. The shipping quote was really long, but it arrived much faster via UPS.

If there's any hesitation in buying this product because it's not Prime or it has less reviews than other stands, ignore that hesitation and get a setup going with Arctic!
