I was looking at baby monitors to keep a check on my husband who is bedridden and couldn't find anything suitable so looked at a few walkie talkies and these seemed to tick all the boxes, they are so simple to use, the sound is very clear and the volume and channel change buttons are a simple click up or down although I've never had to change them, they sure make it a lot easier to talk to each other instead of shouting even if I am outside in the garden, these are definitely better than a baby monitor as they make it easier to talk to each other.
I'd recommend these to anyone looking for something similar.
