Product description

In the seventeenth century, many iron works were founded in Finland. The large forested areas in the Pohja region, with their unrestricted possibilities for water power use and the extremely affordable waterpaths, made them an ideal centre for the Finnish metal industry. The iron works in Antskog have been around 1630, and Billnäs followed in 1641. Fiskars was founded in 1649 and is now one of the oldest companies in the western world.
