1. Does Solo IndoorCam support 5GHz Wi-Fi?

No, it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection.

3. Does Solo IndoorCam support HomeBase?

No, HomeBase is not currently supported. Solo IndoorCam is a standalone product which connects to the user's home Wi-Fi network.

*Push notifications with thumbnail previews require thumbnail preview images to be temporarily stored in the cloud.

**If you choose to use cloud-based features such as cloud storage or push notifications with thumbnail previews, videos or thumbnail previews will be sent to the cloud as needed to provide your selected features.

Camera is very good quality and the app is pretty good too but what really impressed me the most was the low light imagining, with infrared lights off at night it's really good with the natural light.
Update: I have now bought a second camera and it was easy to set up and link to the app.
Motion Detection works very well.
Works well with Alexa & Google (note, I found that when camera is set to 1080p it's more compatible)
Top that with a 128gb SD card so no expensive subscription costs either.
Does suffer with reflection from the window but I have ordered a window camera mount that sticks directly on the glass so that should eliminate the reflection issue.

I'm in the process of upgrading my cameras for home security and having previously bought D-Link, I was initially tempted to carry on with them until I worked out how much it would cost! I started looking for alternatives and came across Eufy. After many hours of watching YouTube reviews, I could see that on a "bang for buck" rating, these were very good. I found this camera on ��غ�� for £37.99 and there was a 20% discount available so I thought for £30ish, I'd give it a go. Best £30ish I've spent in a while!

I really like the easy of set-up and use of this camera. Literally, download the app, follow the install, camera working. The added bonus is that you can use the camera with Apple Homekit, although in Homekit, not all functions are available. The camera has a mic and speaker so you can talk directly to the person at the other end. There is clever AI which can tell the difference between a person, pet or other motion. You can mount it upside down and in the app rotate the image and get notification of any triggers to the camera. There is also an option to have pet commands should you want to stop fido or the kids jumping on the sofa.

I'm now looking to add more of the Eufy cameras to my property and will be pleased to do so. You do need to purchase a separate microSD for the camera, but if you factor into the price that you can get a 64GB class 10 Sandisk card for less than £10, it's mean I have a good quality camera set-up for £40 with features you'd expect to pay double that for!

This was a great camera that I used integrated with Apple HomeKit. It was reliable and had a great picture quality.

Unfortunately I needed to reset my camera due to a software problem in the app. After removing it I couldn't reconnect it to the app because it kept getting stuck at the bluetooth connection stage. I tried multiple different phones using my Eufy account but none would work. After contacting Eufy support I was told that it had failed and because I was outside the warranty period they could not offer a replacement.

Very disappointing it failed after little over a year of use. I would recommend this camera for those who need a cheap, reliable camera - especially Apple HomeKit users as this is one of the cheapest cameras on the market with good support for HomeKit Secure Video.

I'm not sure I'll buy it again. I hope that the failure I suffered was a one-off but I am wary of it happening again to my other Eufy devices.

I purchased this to put in my detached garage. It's powered by usb cable plugging in to a normal UK Mains socket.

Overall, I'm happy with the camera - it does the job of keeping an eye on the contents of my garage and alerts me there's any movement within.

It's been updated to be Homebase (3) compatible, so can either store recordings locally to an SD Card, or store them to the Homebase. If using the SD Card it can do 24/7 recording. If using the homebase 24/7 recording is possible but requires the homebase to have a HDD installed AND be connected to your home network via ethernet cable.

Camera was easy to install with good coverage, and night vision capabilities. Uploaded 2 still images taken by the camera at 7am; the black and white one is with night vision on, the coloured one is with night vision off.

It's able to use AI to detect Humans, Pets and all other motion, with sensitivity adjustment and activity zone options. It's not (yet) capable with the latest Eufy AI features via a homebase such as Facial recongition.

There's a built in siren, loud enough to be heard inside the garage but the sound isn't loud enough to be carried further.

For the price, this is an excellent camera. Resolution of the video is good and HomeKit integration works well. There is only one caveat to HomeKit, that live video does not work when your off your local wifi network. But this is an issue with Etisalat and Du who are blocking the network protocol that streams the live video outside your home, hopefully they will resolve it soon. The workaround is to view recorded video in HomeKit which works perfectly or to use the Eufy app.

For the price and HomeKit secure video integration, I strongly recommend this camera.
