This camera system has very good build quality, a really chunky feel to it that both shows there are probably some serious electronics inside and that the materials it is made from are built to last.
The solar panel can either be mounted directly on the camera or away from it with power via an extended USB cable. The camera unit itself can be charged via normal mains electric and that is how I tested it in this instance, I am still deciding where the optimum position for it is as it can effectively rotate 360 degrees to capture images.
The camera is controlled via an App that I downloaded from the Play Store. It is under the Eufy security name. When I scanned the QR codes on the manual it took me to all sorts of strange places so I would advise just bypassing this and going straight to the Play Store and downloading via there.
I have had it running on the battery for several days now and battery is still showing 100%. The device is fairly self explanatory to use via the App and it can but fully controlled including all the movement functions like panning and tilting. There is the option to put a micro SD card in the unit to store video and images or alternatively data is saved to the phone album. There is also a cloud backup option but this only has a 14 day free trial.
In summary this security camera is very well made and the sort of quality unit you would consider taking with you if you moved house. It combines quality construction with easy to follow operational procedures.
