I bought this after the 10th fiddly DIY home job that needed an assortment of tools to do when a rotary tool would have done the job quicker and more easily. Each time I had resolved to buy one and never actually followed through. Well no more! After reading lots of reviews on different brands this seemed to be the best set up in terms of value for money and the DIY jobs I expected to need it for.

The package comes in a nice sturdy blue bag that fits the tool, an assortment of attachments and the various heads in a neat case divided up into sections plus the instruction manual. There is a fairly generous selection of attachments for polishing, sanding, etching and cutting. the inclusion of a cable extender is useful for those hard to reach areas but the tool itself comes with a decently long cable. The accessories box also comes with a wrench tool for tightening the nut that holds the heads in place.

The only minor gripe I have is the instruction manual is a little unclear on which 'stems' to use with which heads but you can work it out with a bit of common sense.

The switch to set the speed is a chunky clearly numbered orange dial that has a satisfying click. It is recessed into the body of the tool so will not accidently be cranked up or down. I have so far only used it for cutting wood and plastic on medium and slow RPM but on high I wouldn't doubt it capable of cutting metals with the right attachment. Overall very happy with this purchase.

This is a good value product and worked for the job in hand. Found that it tends to burn through attachments at a high rate but, they are cheap to buy. I needed something for a couple of small jobs that got bigger. My main concern is that I am not sure it would be durable enough for regualar usage but, for someone that needs an occaisional tool, it is perfect. Slightly scary to use as once it is controlled by main on off switch rather than the pressure switch a drill or electric srewdriver would have.

Personally speaking I have found this tool to be an absolute delight to use. The battery lasts for roughly 60 minutes or so continuously on a full charge depending on the rotary speed that you choose.

When there is far too much pressure applied to the head, the rotary tool will shut itself off which in all fairness is a good safety feature to have.

It comes packed with various heads that are ideal for a multitude of different jobs.

With it being small, lightweight and easy to carry, you can literally put it in your pocket, providing you are not wearing skinny jeans of course...

I fully recommend using it for wood projects, as I have got some great results out of it on wood.

Not sure about negative reviews for this tool as I found it good quality the accessories are reasonable IF USED CORRECTLY excellent for DIY use, runs smooth no vibration slightly bigger and heavier than some multitools 1/4 price of top brand but if you want TOP QUALITY pay top money ! personally I've used both don't think there's significant difference apart from cost although top brand acessories are better longer lasting so that's what I purchased when supplied accessories wore out

Having used a 'known brand' in the past I was surprised to find that this was better suited to the task. Engraved logo on mild steel with less noise and vibration that other make, took half the time and had more defined results. I think it looks the business.

However, agree with others that the bits supplied with this machine are inferior. Wore out one bit but was in use for about an hour. Let the machine cool off as continuous use is not recommended. Will have to get replacement diamond tipped bits for next project.

Only thing is that even though I was on my local regional ��غ�� it mentions 2 AA batteries which ofcourse is not true at all (how would that power a 160 watt device) so obviously its cabled.
It never mentions however that it only has an UK plug.
So anyone outside of the UK buying, make sure you have an UK->whatever plug you use adapter to actually make use of it.
