Worked perfectly for the cable I had hanging down after putting up an extra gaming screen. It is thin but that's because it's for single cables, although you could probably fit two very slim cables if necessary.
It's fairly easy to cut with scissors, and comes with plenty of shapes to turn different corners.
I haven't painted mine as my walls are white anyway, so I can't comment on the paint-ability.
The included tape is excellent and I've had no issues with it sticking, and even with a good wiggle and yank I can't get it to come off the wall easily so I don't think it's going anywhere soon!
Really good value, I'm looking forward to finding some more places to use my leftovers!
