The first thing to remember when working with Chroma key is that lighting is fundamental. Make sure that there’s no light source behind the green screen and that your face and the front of the green screen are evenly lit. In other words, it is better to sit in front of a window or a spotlight with a camera background at your back.
Another great piece of advice is to choose an optimal distance to your camera. The closer you are to the camera, the bigger your face will be. Wide-angle lenses used in laptops tend to include more of the scene, but normally you will need to sit very close to them.
