RAID MODES

RAID Modes Modes Description
RAID 0 (Fast Mode) Fastest read and write mode, largest capacity but low security.When one of the hard drives fails, all of the data cannot be restored.
RAID 1 (Safe Mode) High security, acceptable read and write with small capacity.When one hard drive fails, other drives work normally; then you'll have to replace the broken drive (greater than or equal to thecapacity of the original capacity), all of your lost data will be recovered automatically.
SPAN All hard drives form a big drive, when one of them fails, all of yourdata will be unrecoverable.
PM Default factory setting mode, all disks work separately.When one disk fails, all the others will not be affected.
Caution Please back up your data every time you switch modes.
