Well this made an almighty mess in my kitchen.

There is a plug and once plugged in an on at the mains this is 'on'. You lift the lid, pull the silicone handle from inside the water container, and remove the container to fill it up at the tap. Slot it back in place and close the lid. So far ok.
There is a toggle switch for water. Place your cup on the drip plate under the nozzle and flick the switch to on. Out comes a sporadic trickle of water and in about 15-20 seconds you cup is full - so now turn off the switch. The water stops instantly.

You probably want to do a few of these before risking drinking it, as you'll want to flush the system.

In my case, 20 minutes later and a kid is calling me to the kitchen - half of the water container has leaked on the counter. Fortunately before hitting the heating element. Cleaned up, checked to make sure everything is seated correctly. After about 2 minutes it started doing it again. Third time just as unlucky.

The item is packaged up read to return, however as the seller was super speedy in dispatching the item and it arrived before the 'due date' ��غ�� are unable to issue a return label so I have to wait a few days to post it back.

I bought this for mum as she has dementia and I thought this might work for her as she kept putting the electric kettle on the hob. I did a lot of research before purchasing and elected to buy one that doesn’t deliver a specific measure and this was a mistake. You press a button and the water flows till you press it again to stop it so we had many overflow situations. If I were to buy one again I would put up with the frustration of short measures etc and just get one that stops filling automatically. Even I forgot on occasions. You press it and go to the fridge for milk, get distracted and before you know it boiling water is everywhere. The tank was great though and it was easy to use
